  1. I can identify with that my friend.
  2. My 02 only has a hollow banjo bolt. I have not heard of the one you mention.
  3. Hopefully not twice in the same post???
  4. The harness for my AD has only a 20 amp. I think the fass are the same. But if you have a relay harness for the pump the only thing the ECM pigtail provides is a trigger to close the relay and no power for the pump. The power for the pump should come from the battery, PDC, or any 12v source other than the ECM.
  5. Again, I still have the code, you Idaho potato farmer you!! Kidding aside, i have had some codes self erase but never tried to count any cycles. I do believe you, just lazy sometimes.
  6. Definitely get rid of that pump unless you add a new fuel pick up outside of the basket. I guess it would not matter if you do it that way.
  7. Some beach!! Learn something new every day.
  8. Worked fine until today but I only got the code the truck ran fine. The splice I fixxed was the 5v supply to the other sensors not the one to the map. I did not understand that one. But we shall see, about to hit the road back home.
  9. Where do your pour that stuff in at? I cant find the resovoir.
  10. I believe he means cant and not can.
  11. Mine has turned the CEL on its own. Just happened today. Got a 237 code when goingmto eat lunch. When I came back and restarted the light was off. The code however is still there. Gremlins.
  12. The controls for your blinker and hazard lights is in the fuse box at the drivers door. I forget which one is which but you should be able to get them at any auto parts. I am pretty sure there are different kinds, the one I put in mine does not let know when a bulb is burnt out like the OE did. So check and see what they have, I miss that feature and need to get the different one. Pretty sure thars your issue, not sure how to detirmine whether it is one or the other. I believe it is the one circled in yellow. The Blue one is the hazard. Or vice versa.
  13. No holes in the bottom of the tank for me. The pick up in the basket will drain my tank.
  14. Devils advocate here, but stopping every 45 or 50 minutes for 60 more miles of travel is not exciting at all. It is a 15 minute stop counting getting off the highway to do that at best. I know that just means better to come I hope. But at that rate you could be making 50 maybe 55 mph at best on a long trip.
  15. Did that wire go thru a 2 wire connector down to the loom near the starter. That is the one that ran the oe pump and it plugs into my relay harness for the AD pump relay. Beyond that we are getting into my electrical midgetness.
  16. Dont forget you have a fuel level sending unit on fuel basket. Not sure why the 4 wires for a basket with no pump in it though.
  17. Just bump the starter, no engine start, and you should be able to hear the pump or pumps running for about 20 seconds.
  18. My switch is a 1 wire set up as is the spare harness I have.
  19. I had an intank pump. I removed it and modified the basket with kit that came with my AD. The pickup is in the basket and works fine. But like @Me78569 says above you ought to find out what you have first.
  20. You need to check for power at the pig tail across the 2 pins in the connector. Bump the starter and see if you have power at the connector. If you do your LP is bad, if not it is in the ECM. Hopefully the rebuilder will stand behind their warranty.
  21. So if you bump the starter, no engine start, and leave the key on, the LP does not run for that 20 or so seconds? Do you have a fuel pressure gauge?
  22. What fuel pressure are you seeing?
