  1. You're fine @Dumb A. @JAG1 is just covering his A for when he hijacks your thread. I personally would never do such a thing.
  2. I pulled the motor today. Cleaned the connectors and was able to get work on one wiper. Just doesn't have the umph left to run both. Plus it wont park anymore, on off only. Nobody has a motor instock so i got to order one. No rain in the forecast this week so maybe it will get before the rain returns.
  3. The sealing washers are most likely shot. When changed mine i didnt think there was any rubber on them until figured out the rubber was almost as hard the steel part. It will cause the fuel drain back to the tank eventually and cause a hard start issue. The vent bottle will puke oil and the fan will blow all over the radiator and plug it up. Best to remove it and reroute. @Mopar1973Man has good article on doing it in the articles section.
  4. Had a couple frosty mornings out here the past 2 days and noticed the wipers started real slow. Today I leave in a drizzle and no wipers at all. So I figure the wiper motor is shot. Have open it up and make sure the linkage is not bound up and if not it is new wiper motor time. Anything else I should look at that anyone knows?
  5. I did check in with rooster painting and the do have a 35mph paint job for roosters. very much like a 60 mph Earl Schieb paint job for cars. Though scale wise I think the rooster comes out on top.
  6. Do not loosen all the bolts first. Everything I have seen is a one bolt at a time. If you pull all the bolts you might as well do a head job. your seal on the head gasket will be compromised.
  7. Well let me ask. If the DOT has too much why are a lot of bridges across the nation in bad shape as in structurally deficient? And some roads I have to drive on for work need attention That 18.4 cents in 1993 is only worth about 10 cents today. I dont like paying taxes any more than the next guy. With all the additional roads the have been built and the old ones that need care, how far can that dime go today? Government waste does not help either.
  8. They have to do something. The last time federal gas taxes were raised was in 1993. 18.4 cents a gallon. I imagine the spending power of that tax has been reduced in 27 years.
  9. Don, l know you meant that with the best intention. But when l am having to look at the white line on the right side of the road because someones headlghts are blinding me l worry for both of us because l have no idea where they are and can barely see where l am. I like my LED's but have them aimed so as not blind on coming traffic. To many folks out there today that only give a damn about what they can see.
  10. They should be, They dont pay any highway use taxes on their fuel. Alot of the fuel is free out this way too. Little free kiosks all over. Happy I dont have wait for one though. Their fuel taxes will come one day.
  11. Mine are the 9004 with an after market cear lense. They do not reach any further on ow beam but the light is better, i can aim them up more and really light the road. But l figure thats blinding anyone coming at me. I despise that when l am the one having to stare into that light. What good are bright headlights when the man coming at you cant see poop!
  12. They make the bio from all kinds of feed stocks. I wonder what they made @Dieselfutureout of? They dont have label unless its above 5%. Below requires no label. I wish they would label it. My truck and l like it. Though 5% is the best. IMHO.
  13. I run when ever I find it. Have been for the past 7 years or so. I do notice a slight drop in mileage when its up to 20%. Nothing noticable at 5%. The bad is up to 5% does not have to be labeled ad such. Anything over has to be labeled. I just dont see many labels around my neck of the woods ant more. When in doubt l just add the 2 stroke. Never had a problem with cold weather but the 20's is pretty cold around here.

  16. My looked the same as @Mopar1973Manwhen I pulled the head. And the injectors after 150k were in similar condition.
  17. The rv275's have worked the best with the comp for me. Ran some 50's in it while back and they were to smokey and a bit toasty for my liking.
  18. Never had much use Rahm. If my memory serves me correctly he is one of the many appointed by Obama that had to amend their past tax returns upon appointment. Never heard why they had to do that just that they did. I have to agree with @That Guyon the money thing. The amounts we are talking about are obscene. They is no way anyone that gets elected is not beholding to god knows who. And it aint the voters that put them there. If any of them want a dime from me all they got to do is fore go all that outside money. I am sick of it. As far as the election being a fraud, show me the evidence. Not just people telling me there is evidence. I helped put Trump in office and if things are not right they need to be dealt with. If there is evidence of wide spread fraud, produce it. Judges across the country have tossed lawsuits for lack of evidence. These judges are from both sides as far appointments go. I also cant imagine that a fraud as big is this would have to be could be kept secret.

  20. Whats $5.5k among friends, just do it. Man thats a lotta cash to lay for freaking injectors even if the owner is paying for it. Is that new or remans?
  21. The descriptions were so much alike that had to share mine. I known cruise control by passes the apps sensor from earlier problems I experience. As far as changing the timing I dont know. When I had some surging issues I would set the cruise and could still see the the throttle percentage increase and decrease but seldom overcame the cruise since l was cruise at a higher throttle percentage. Never tried cruise to see if the miss dissappeared. Weak injector out of the box, could be? It happens. I never lost any mileage even on the oe injectors qwith 250k on them. As far as power maybe I did. Hard to notice if the power is reduced on such an extended run. The only loss in mileage l ha e experienced is when l put the new VP on one year ago. Dropped from 19.5 to 18.5. I attribute this to not having the pump tapped. Don't want to ruin a perfectly good warrantee on a $1k part. I will be tapping the pump soon. I miss level 4 and 5. If your dyno 360 to 400hp you are doing pretty darn good in power. The wish me numbers, engine 235 or 245 + 60hp injectors, and 80 hp on the ez add up to 375 or 385 hp. If you are over that at the wheels you are doing damn good. Mine adds up to, 245 engine, 30 more for the rv's, and 120 in level 5 for a grand total of 395. Never dyno'd mine to know where it really stands. Good luck on what to try. I still do think if your injectors are old and high mileage it is most likely what the problem is. But thats not a personal garauntee. Injectors are pretty reasonable for our 24 valves. Dave
  22. I had a very similar issue myself about 4 or 5 years ago. It was an irregular miss but not a dead miss. More like a cylinder only got a half shot fuel. You knew it was there but not alarming like a dead misswas. It was only present in the higher gears on heavy throttle like getting on the interstate. At the time I had an old set of RV275'S with about 150k on them. I dont remember whether I disconneted the comp to see if it made any difference or not. I like to think I did but.... I do know a new set of injectors cured it. It would also happen on level 3 as well as level 5. Level 3 on my comp is the same as level 3 on your EZ. I am thinking injectors if yours are old and have high a lot miles on them. Also this pre WT's ground mod, new cables and other electrical things I have done since.
  23. I did mine a year or so ago but used new clear housings. Never tried them in fluted stock housings after so many people blinding everybody. The results have been good for me.
