  1. Lets hope it's nothing serious and he will be back up and running soon.
  2. I never saw that kind of mileage with just the rv's or them and the comp.
  3. Back to the gas station, That doesn't look like the fuel economy tune to me.
  4. The ball joint setup on a 96 is not the same as the 00-02. Those 3 years are different than the others. Do the 12 valves have the fuel pressure issues the 24 valves have?
  5. Well I put the winch and got a much better look at what happened. When I looked up under there a couple weeks ago the cable was not unwound, just the couple inches. I guess being in the wind unwound it dont know. But I was shocked to see how bad the cable was frayed and missing 3 of 6 strands. Time to get my eyes examined. I helped the guy get my spare on last time and never saw it falling apart even had my hand on the cable. Pretty easy swap except the bolts were hard to get my big hands on. I did unwind that cable just to get a better idea of what I lost.
  6. Hers is an auto 4 cylinder. Not a bad little car around town but I dont think I could take a long trip in it. She might not get another till she learns how to not scratch or bang the corners up. She is only 4-10 so maybe I need to her a smart. Maybe she could see all four corners.
  7. Maybe the wifes 98 SL2 is worth $1400. Hers has 120k and fairly clean till she hold of it. If she got hit and totaled I would be on the smelly end of the stick.
  8. Hey hey be careful with the head and what you do behind my sofa.
  9. Mine is 15 years old also and it is not leaking. They are made of rubber and re usable until they do start leaking.
  10. In fairness thats how I put mine together too. They are pretty massive to push together for something so small. I dont think you can hang around very long without walking into the mine. Reminds me of a screaming beaver!!!!!
  11. That is pretty massive for a brain.
  12. I hope 40 hp would not do that to you, but I would not know. My stock clutch held up to them and the 75hp tuner, but thats a manual. We need an auto guy.
  13. My AD II 165 takes a 20a. Not sure on the 100. You can look on their website and find it I would think.
  14. I ran my RV's with my Banks tuner, 75 hp, and with no tuner. Neither set up showed any appreciable smoke. Like Mikes says a little puff now and again. Still have them with the Comp and I can blow some smoke with it. Not intersection black out clouds by any means but smokier than my other set ups. If you are stock of mildly tuned you will like them. They are a nice little bump in power and mpg as mentioned above.
  15. Do tell what this other place is and what it cost.
  16. I dont believe either the heater core or evaporator are weak spots in the Dodge. Like any other vehicle they can fail. If they are still working fine then you have a choice on replacing or not. I had a leaky evaporator and busted dash. I did replace the heater core while I had the box out. I had about 240k on mine when the evaporator started leaking. I also used the LMC dash replacement. Fit great and still looks good after 4 years or more, @deehammerthread is good reference and Mike has a article here about pulling the dash also.
  17. It is consumable and non poisonous but the taste is quite dreadful.
  18. I got lost a long time before your post @JAG1
  19. That would be a question for who ever you would buy from. Then you have to have the trust that they really do it. I am running a set of DAP rv275's. They have about 140k on them. They have always worked fine but I think they are getting a little worn and one seems to be firing weakly. Not a miss but does generate a little vibration at idle sometimes. More like firing with a partial fuel burn at times. Othe times like today it purred like a tiger at idle. I am in the market for a new set.
  20. I am thinking thats a MSRP that someone can defeat. When I bought mine Dodge was wanting about the same price plus programming. I was a little shocked that the guy I found got for me for the price I paid. Kind of like the price a walk in pays versus a regular customer. Kind of like when I buy the WIX BHAF at NAPA. $65 until I turn them down. Then they give it to me for the $35 trucker price.
  21. Does the EZ mess with fuel since it does not tap the pump?
  22. I still have my oe crossover tubes and just replaced the o rings. As hard as that steel is I am not sure you could wear them out. I chucked mine into a dill and used a scotch brite to clean the end at the fuel line up and there was not a mark on them.
  23. $2495 wow!! especially since I got for $1400 5 or 6 years ago installed with programming. I guess they are getting scarcer.
