Is Ported banjo bolt recommended?
If The 90 does not come with the kit, Vulcan performance has them. I got mine with the a big line kit to remove the banjos from the filter canister to the VP. He should sell them separately,

I am thinking with that statement the saga still goes on. Or JL sold the truck.

Multi meters for AC testing
I wish I had the magic arrow for you. Fluke meters are out my budget but I have seen some folks here pick them up on the cheap on Craig's list or such. I have not been that lucky. I am using an Innova, but the model alludes me at the moment. I am sure someone will come along and help better than I have.

Old Timers
@jlwelding if I remember correctly you were going thru quite a time with your motor at the time I joined. I cant remember exactly what was wrong but I know you had a long list of things you had tried to fix with. It was ongoing saga as I recall.

Steering
I seem to remember a wise man telling to do it a little at a time. If I could just remember who it was. I think it was Beavis or Butthead, something like that.

Old Timers
I came on in July of 2010. It was when my ECM crapped out. Found CF and tried to get some help there and the best suggestions I got was to check my grounds. Heard that from a lot sources. A lot of stuff just went unanswered. I kept seeing Mike's site recommended and I finally came over and visited. I was shocked when I called and he spent 2 hours talking to me. This is about my only foray into the forums other than lurking on some for the wife's car.

Exhaust
- Steering
There is an adjustment screw on top of the steering box. It has an adjusting screw with a jam nut to hold it in place. Loosen the jam and tighten the screw 1/8 of turn and see if that helps. If not try another 1/8 turn. It does not take a lot to over tighten it. I did this to mine several years ago and it stills pretty good. A touch of play but not much worse than it was when new. If that does not work then a rebuild or replacement would be in order. IIRC I turned mine 1/4 turn. If the nut is tightened to far you could lose steering return and it will accelerate the demise of the steering gear.- 2001 Head gasket arp studs
I am no engine expert but always thought you should always have the head check for flatness when it was off. Others here know more about this than I.- Exhaust
I have been running a 4" with flow thru muffler since 2005, Banks. Raspy would not fit what I hear.- To Go With A Smarty Or Not
What is the difference between the 01 and 02? is it just the MAP sensor? The reason I ask is that I have, what I believe, is the 01 MAP on my truck with the wiring adapter. So I am thinking if I get one that I would need the 01.- Quadzilla Adrenaline V2 Testing
You were running different gears right? Ignore that, I think my brain is in the wrong gear. I have to take it all back now. You are turning lower rpm at 65 than 55. Won't that skew the numbers a good bit?- Power lock
Welcome to the world of . You have a lot of good company.- Do roll over balls go bad?
I always thought they were at the entry point at the filler neck to stop the fuel from pouring in a rollover situation. Never laid eyes on mine. Not sure what good it would do in the fuel module.- Help, Not starting
What kind of fluid drains out of the separator? Is it mostly water? It does not take a lot of water to mess things up.- Power lock
Possible you knocked a connector off of something. Pull the door panel and look around in there.- To Go With A Smarty Or Not
I believe there are stock tunes for it also. A lot of that stuff about is over my head. If I had not bought a comp 16 months ago, I would buy one though.- IAT sensor cleaning
I cleaned mine once about 180k ago trying cure a problem and it did not help. Have not touched it since. Have not even seen since then.- Engine/ECM troubles
Does the cruise work?- Injectors
I have only done mine once but never saw anything telling me to do that. So technically I have done mine twice learning that one. I just hope this solves your issues. You have had quite a few for this one problem.- Injectors
I have seen some install kits that include a nut to pull the crossover tubes with, thats what i am thinking it is. They will just pop out with a screw driver. I also used a bolt in the injector and pried the injectors out. They just popped right out. When you install the new be sure and snug up the injector lines to the tubes and then tighten the injector hold downs. Like to drove my self crazy trying stop leaks until I did that. It lets seat properly.- 53 BLOCK Problem yes or no
Most of the ones I have read about here and elsewhere over the years that failed happened early on in there lifespan. As long and as far as yours has made it you should be fine. Just treat her good like every says and she will treat you the same. There are a few other 53 block owners here that are still going strong.- busted console lights
Well my oe lasted 15 years and 390k miles so figured since I am retiring in 2 maybe 3 years that this one would most likely outlast me. I will just keep a BETTER eye on it. Hopefully the oe replacement I bought is as good as the original.- 2790 versus the 6637 Bhagwan napa filter
I have been running the 6637 with no issues for several years. Bagwan??? not familiar with that term. - Steering
