  1. Hate to here this. I also cant answer your question. But I would say if you are missing one of your tips, there is only one place to look. If that does not work I will send my wife to help you find it.
  2. gotcha!! In my younger days we called that grabbing the bumper of a passing car on the snow covered street. Of course my parents were'nt looking at the time.
  3. These are extremes I have never seen and will never see. That I understand and cannot comment on. But I can identify with the tired older bones, I have a few.
  4. Welcome Jokra. Sure is good looking truck you got there. I have been kidding MM about his purple truck and now I guess someone else is going to say Maroon not purple. I am a long bed man and always will be. But I say to each his own. If you find the 2' of bed you lost, I might add it to mine. 2 stroke will be good for you. 1 oz per gallon and use TCW3. It is ashless and thats what you want. Wally world Super tech is good and reasonbly priced. There are some other product out there that work well also. Should be in the articles section as to what. Your VP will love you for using one or the other I personally run an Air Dog electric and am very satisfied with how it works. If you dont mind getting dirty, dropping the tank is not that big a deal, just run the tank low before you do it. Fuel Boss and electric both work nicely, just never used the fuel boss. I am trying to say to much in a welcome post, just a little jealous of your truck. 390k+ on mine and it looks nothing like yours. Strap 15k on the back and we might see who does the best. Welcome!!!!
  5. When you have 9 grandchildren nobody notices you looking at the "fat tweakers", for the most part anyway. Quad hookie-bobbing time????? This hillbilly aint sure what that means.
  6. Bring on the snow bunnies. While it would help warm up the view productivity, would go way down.
  7. You all can have all that snow and low temps you want. I can live with 30 in the am as long as gets to 60 in the pm. We are getting ready for some teens overnight and only the mid 30's for highs. That is colder than I like. Hate all the extra work protecting stuff from freezing at work. The only good part is the mud is frozen. My pants have mud clean up to my pockets. Sick of that too. Retirement sounds better everyday.
  8. I use my impact hand. Never lost one either. That above is just plain nasty!!!!!
  9. Ran up on a guy at gas station in south Alabama that had older land rover with a 4BT in it. Not car but not a pickup or semi.
  10. @JAG1 better be watching to be sure Diesel doesn't have a spare bolt hidden on him somewhere when comes back to visit.
  11. So he protects the truck too. Will he let back in Mike's house now?
  12. As far as not knowing anything that will change the more you hang around. I drove mine for over eight years with no problem other than a failed VP. It was fixed under warranty so I did not have to learn a thing. An expensive lift pump install by a dealer after my OE pump failed broke me of returning to a dealer and them a failed ECM brought me here. I learned more here in the past six years than I already knew. That is mainly due to the folks here sharing their knowledge and giving me confidence to tackle a lot more. Sharing all of that with other members has been rewarding. I stay in a lot of RV parks over the years for work and you sure do run up on people from all walks of life in them.
  13. Google the part#. I saw them available all over for cheap. Not the oe however they were pricey from the Mopar part sellers. They appear to fit some Fords also, at least the same part#.
  14. I noticed on their description that it has an internal voltage regulator. How does that interact with the PCM voltage regulator? A question from the electrically challenged.
  15. Happy for you both that she is coming home. With trips like that you might just beat back from the moon.
  16. Well that did answer a lot questions. Have you checked the voltage going to the pump?
  17. not one of my favorite things, chasing wires that is.
  18. I have always run 15w 40. I dont see the single digit temps very often at all where live and even in my travels for work. The teens I see some but mostly just in the 20's. Never had any issues with the 15 40 in 15 years and 390k miles.
  19. The fan and wind will surely blow it around. When my tappet cover was leaking it dripped off both sides motor. Replaced it and it stopped. Now I think my vacuum pump, timing cover and maybe front main seal is leaking and its blowing all over too and looks like it's leaking every where.
  20. I did a little looking at Fass install instructions and would seem they come with the relay and wiring harness though I did find one set for a 150 that did not have the relay just a harness to connect straight to the factory plug. The seemed old but could not tell for sure. I guess when i read the OP's post I just thought he was confused on what the pump does at key on. Thought he was expecting full pressure at key on. I am sure the OP will respond and straighten us all out.
  21. That sounds more like 3/4 of 4X4. I would have to agree. Thats a lot a wood!!!
  22. Not sure I have ever seen a 35' 2X4. Maybe I live a sheltered life.
  23. Good advice above. When you first turn the key you only get a little blip, 1/2 second or so, hence the low pressure. bump the starter with no engine start and it should run for 25 seconds or so. Your idle and WOT pressures are the ones to watch.
  24. You might check where the plug wire connects to the block heater element. I have read of that connection going bad due moisture infiltration. I have never had to look mine to see if there is anything else. You might double check your power supply and cord to be sure there is not a problem with those. I dont know how many times I have had folks complain about no power on out temps services on my jobs for them to find out their cord is the problem.
