Next time I am there I will measure. The big rig nozzles are much larger but not sure about the auto diesel pump nozzle.

Not sure what year your truck is but when I installed my AD, airsoft to some, 6 years ago there was no mention of a reflash of the ECM. Can't figure out what good that would do.

If you are not seeing water in the oil or oil in the water I dont think I would pull the head. If it is injetors you dont have to pull the head as far as I know, but I dont know how to diagnose them. Pulling the head just opens a whole new pocket in your wallet.

There are cheaper injectors by reputable people, DAP and Vulcan performance come to mind. all depends on what you are after. They will come with nozzles. Valve cover gasket should be ok. They are reusable. Mine has almost 400k on it and been removed 4 times I think. Rail lines, I do not know about. No special tools needed if the crossover tubes are the same as a 2nd gen. A large screwdriver will pop them out. DAP includes a nut for the purpose with their injector. Vulcan might also, not sure. You can bar the engine over with the nut on the alternator pulley if you have no barring tool. Never had one myself. Changing the injectors is fairly simple and does not require a bunch of special tools. Now I am speaking from a VP engine and not a CR engine so I dont know all, others will chime in and correct anything I have misstated. Buying the injectors is the tough part of a CR engine.

I worried about that after buying mine but the only time I almost put gas in it was at a station that the gas pump handle on the nozzle was green. Got a few of those around here where I am working. I dont know how bad diesel will foul up a gas engine these days.

That is within Bosch's parameters for a stock truck. I cant see it hurting anything unless something is bout ready to go. No good way to determine that however. I have driven mine on less before I knew anything about the importance of good fuel pressure.

I seem to remember mine idling just under 850 until I put the RV275's in. Then it went to just over 800.

For those who did not watch the Patriots came back from a 21 point deficit at the half to tie the game at 28 28 at the end of regulation. Hoping Atlanta wins. I am not a big football fan and dont have favorite team but usually do watch it but if I miss it, no biggy, and I found something better to do.

I bought my comp about 6 months or so before this I quad thing cam around. So I guess I will be comping a while longer.

My truck would love a paint job. Not going to happen in the near future though.

I bugs me that the machine supposedly knows but evidently the clerk does not. It does not surprise though.

I am doing some of the motel right now and not liking the the checking in and out every monday and friday. But it is a necessity at the moment. I too travel for a living. The 4" I put on came with the flow thru muffler and I have always liked. Plenty loud enough for me. I likes the sneaky part too.

I have had a couple rv parks complain about the Cummins on regular idle at 6 in the morning. I cant imagine what they would have said with 3 cylinder high idle and an EB going.

While most of this is above my head I am glad to see a little discussion of the HO engine. seems the differences are minimal but so exist. I will be looking forward to more.

I know its not compatible with B100. According to what I read up on the parker hose on my AD it was good past B20 but I dont remember how much. I have knowingly run B20 and less for 2.5 to 3 years with out a problem.How much more I have run unknowingly who knows. Heard all these stories about clogging up filters because the bio was going to clean all the crud out of my fuel system. I have not experienced anything bad with the bio. I am going to install some new injectors soon and we will see what the old ones look like. out here there is mostly not a choice there maybe multiple pumps but the same fuel. If they offered both and one was cheaper I would most likely go with the cheapest. I never noticed any mileage loss due to the bio. Matter of fact I pulled two of my best tanks running what was labeled bio mass diesel at 10% mix. It is different from bio diesel by the material used to make it but I dont remember enough about it. I have only found the bio mass in Tennessee in Chattanooga and Nashville.

The only reason I brought it up is the pumps not having to be labeled with 5% or less bio in it. I travel for work and end up buying fuel at a lot of different places. So I am not always sure if I am getting it. I sought it for about 2 years just see how well would run in mine. So far I have never had any issues with it. It is as good lubricator that is out there. I built a Love's travel center last year and they use a lot of it. They have a tank on site that mixes it with their diesel as it is pumped. They also get a 50 cent per gallon subsidy for every gallon they sell. That being said they cant be the only one doing it with the amount of money involved.

One possibility for the quietness is bio diesel fuel. There is a lot of it out here in the SE. It runs quieter in my truck. Any blend 5% or less does not have to be labeled either.

My advice would be to ditch the Diesel Kleen and just run the 2 stroke. I dont really know what kind of lubricating properties DK has. I ran it for a few months long ago and never could tell it was in fuel. It darn sure did not quieten mine down at all. The 2 stroke definitely did. The two together will tend to work against each other.

Yes. I have Galaxy 5, but sadly no Quad.

At the time I put mine on I was pretty much sold on the fact I needed to just due to the all the marketing out there. The Banks kit I bought came with the exhaust and everything else. As mentioned above it was the first time I had ever taken a perfectly good part of of a vehicle and threw it away.

How do you install this or any of the others? Do you have to key all this info in?

That does suck. Thank goodness it is a easy part to replace. Swapped my od out on the side of the interstate when it blew. Are replacing the anti freeze each time? That and the 100 bucks would add to the "sucks' factor big time.
