tow mirrors
I would like to put the heater control in mine, but I am no sure whether the trim bezel will stand another removal or not.

Chicken Pluckers anyone?
I dont consider myself a city boy, but I have to be honest the only thing I have ever skinned is a cat fish. Gutted some ordinary fish before, but that is my country experience. That chicken plucking machine was something.AT chick-fil-a, their chicken comes in a big bag. Please forgive them and me.

Fuel system: Sumps and Lift Pumps?
The pumps I am speaking of have all been on Dodge 24v cummins. standard pressures like mine. dont get me wrong I have had an ADII 165 for 2 years with no problems, but it seems there are many folks just like me that are,but with newer manufacture dates. I am not trying to preach against AD's product, but anyone buying one needs to be aware there are problem before laying out $500+.

Tires: Treadwright
With all this weighing and pressuring, are the tires doing any better?

I can see that now and Ron would have a can of spray on feathers for the balding chicken . You gotta love that guy.

Fuel system: Sumps and Lift Pumps?
The The ones I read about lately have been Raptors, 100's and 150's. What kind of high pressure application are you speaking of?

Fuel system: Sumps and Lift Pumps?
I agree Diesel4life, but it seems that AD has been having a lot of problems with their pumps lately. AD says they have addressed the issues and fixed the problems. It seems there are still some of the older pumps on dealer shelves that might still have the problems though. I am not trying to beat AD up because I have had one for over 2 years with zero issues and am quite happy with it. Just something to be aware of.

Tires: Treadwright
That is rather strange.

The C.A.T. is outta the bag!
Get it loaded up the way you are going to travel with it and weigh it again. It sounds like you were not completely loaded when you first weighed it anyway.

tow mirrors
Russ, all you have to do is plug them in, then you need the switch. It is in the hvac control panel. you have to swap for another one with the switch. You can find used ones on ebay. By the way do you have the switch for the power part of the mirrors? got mine off of ebay as well.

The C.A.T. is outta the bag!
I had to go back a re read and I see he is talking of his truck tires and not the trailer tires. The only tire I have ever had rated that high were on the RV. I also see he runs a bigger tire on his truck than I do. 265's on mine.

The C.A.T. is outta the bag!
Mine came with 235 85R 16 LR G 3750# at 110 psi also. The rims have to be rated for that also. They are mounted on 7k# rated axles. You sure about your pressure on those tire Hex? The weird thing for me is the tires I had to buy a while back while stranded in IL are load range f rated a almost 4k# at 90 psi. I'll check that when I get back home tonight but I do remember they were rated higher at less pressure that the LR G's.

Nice pile Mike. Always knew you could pile it up.

The C.A.T. is outta the bag!
To get the true pin weight you would have to support the pin and raise the landing gear. Due to the landing gear being reward of the pin there will be more weight on the gear. Shift the weight to the pin and the rear axles take up part of the weight. Does that make sense to you? - - - Updated - - - You are not getting a true pin weight from the front jacks. The landing gear is rearward of the pin and are carry more weight. You have to weigh at the pin to get the weight. When you move the weight to the pin the rear axles take part of the weight you saw on the landing gear. Take the empty weight of you trucks rear axle and subtract it from the loaded weight with the trailer on and you would have the pin weight. To be exact you should have re weighed the truck with every thing in it, but the numbers you have will get you close the the actual pin weight. - - - Updated - - - sorry about the double explanation, thought the first got lost.

Dash light wire
I'll take a shot in the dark here. Pin 5 in C2 for the parking lights. The dash lights come on with the parking lights. - - - Updated - - - I'll take a shot in the dark here. Pin 5 in C2 for the parking lights. The dash lights come on with the parking lights.

95 Honda accord
I leaning toward electrical, like spark or if the fuel pump is electric maybe there. Since it is so intermittent I would not think a clogged filter or fuel line leak, but you never know.

New from WI
Welcome. It did use to be easier. I have run the ADII165 for 2+ years with no issues even using the quick disconnects that got bad reviews a while back,no problems there either. Several folks here are running the mechanical's now with good results also. I would recomend you get a fuel pressure gauge asap so you can tell how quick you need to decide. This is as important as a good lift pump..

I think so. Do I get 3 chances just in case?- 4" Exhaust
Very well stated.- Just upgraded to hx35, not happy
The hx is going to spool slower on the low end than the hx due to the exhaust housing size. The hy is smaller than the hx and spools quicker. Your boost pressure is determined by the waste gate. Stock it should open around 20 psi. Mine will make 33 or 34, but I have an aftermarket waste gate that opens at the higher pressure. You will make more power with more pressure, but I believe 35psi is about the max effective pressure for the hx. Above that you can loose power and make more heat like you are seeing. There are some much more knowledgeable folks here that will be able to explain this much better. I am sure they will be speaking up soon. Do you have any other mods on your truck? If you would fill out your signature with any mods you have it will help with solutions.- Oppps, Crunch!!
I think about that clip every time I drive under one. Sorry about the luck, Russ. - An Early Class Photo of...................Michael
