  1. Swap the timing case and cam gear/cam. Is easier for me to swap the entire cam vs. trying to pull the gears off.
  2. It is honestly one of the fastest ways to rule out the vp.
  3. Have you tried to hot wire the vp yet? The timing code does not bode well for the health of the vp.
  4. I believe he is a bit confused on the direction of the swap. The 01 electronics swap is a bit of a bastard to say the least. You are on the correct direction with orientating the sensor and window for the tone wheel. The white smoke you are seeing is due to timing offset from the orientation being off.
  5. Lock up cycling and converter shudder are very different issues. Keep that in mind.
  6. It is a smoke switch. It does not add any power or provide any gains in fueling. Idgaf what the Ford guys do or think they are doing. Been around these trucks long enough to see the trends they develop.

  8. You likely used the wrong timing case and gear. Install the timing case from your 01 engine along with the cam.

  11. The 3rd gens were a switch. Some late 2nd gens too.
  12. That is just a fancy lockup controller. Ats copilot comes to mind but I find it odd for the box to be mounted under hood.
  13. The duty cycle for each pump at 1500hp would be fairly low. I'm sure it would cover most anything most would want to do with our small cubic inch stuff. I was told equivalent to a mild 13mm. Now if that is true or not....idk.
  14. It depends on the options as I said. If a controller that has security but does not see it on the truck...it will shut it down after it writes it to the cluster. Most emissions testing facilities get pissy about the mismatch as well.
  15. I assume the tps drop along with can fueling drop is due to the 330bar getting to desired speed quicker?
  16. It should. You will get no promises from me on that one. Some trucks care more than others. Mine being one that cared.
  17. Ecm yes and if it does get mad the ecm is easily corrected with flash. There is more to it with the pcm. All options between the trucks have to match. Think security.
  18. Now I agree. If anyone has a way to wipe the controller it can be updated to the correct vin. Even on a dealership level they do not have this ability.
  19. No the DRB III cannot do what the op is asking. It has never been able to.
  20. I know both were having a hard time on the cc output due to the limited amount of pump builder info. I want to say it has constant pressure dvs but do not quote me on that. Rick or Tony had some of that info in their threads. The cam was much more aggressive than a typical 12mm from what I remember in Tonys thread.
