  1. Try something for me. Remove the crank signal wire and attach it to the cam signal wire.
  2. That is more due to the owners not tuning the pump properly.
  3. My 24v has rwal. Constantly sets the code if I scan it.
  4. P0500 shows up if you spin the rear tires. P1763 is your 2nd gear start issue.
  5. It will likely be less expensive to buy a complete new charger. Especially when buying a new turbine. Aftermarket billet wheels are in the $400ish range. Turbines are more.
  6. There is a process to it but is a tedious one. Not going to help anything unless the head had been off recently.
  7. This sounds like the ecm is looking for the message from the pcm to not limit power/rpm.
  8. I've had a similar issue with the gps in my green truck. Actually speedo does the same thing, jumps lol. I really would like to put together a first gen but they bring stupid money up here in the rust.
  9. Yes I do. I have seen very few 7 hole injectors do what 6 holes can. What you have now will work fine with the setup as well. Keep that in mind.
  10. I have a polishing method that works great. I fight my ppump 24v lines every time.
  11. It will not be over 600hp with the current secondary (62/65). Mid 500s on a true dyno.
  12. 6x.013s for the power you want. Infinite performance is my go to but is 4-6 weeks out right now. I don't want to be a heart breaker but most of that stuff is not going to help you get your goal. The cam is a bit on the larger side out of what I see work on a vp truck. Fuel and air is all it takes and really is that simple. The ported head will lower boost. The cam will move the power band up in the rpm range. The setup I know about for your goals is extremely basic. Super b special (64.5/71/14, s475/96/1.32, Schied lighting twos (6x.013s) and an edge comp. That was it. Ran mids 11s and made 750whp. In a quad cab short bed truck.
  13. That thing has to scoot right on down the road!
  14. I agree. There is a break over point at 650whp with a vp truck. Regardless of tuning. The secondary you will need to get near that 750hp will not lend itself to towing much of anything. I am not the biggest fan of 7 hole injectors either. They work but for the power you want it will take some knowledge of pintle work etc to get there. 6 holes are the king on vp or ppump 24v engines.
  15. The ecm you are using. Was it from an auto or 5 speed truck?
  16. Bring it to me and I'll get it to stop.
  17. Single charger. Compounds were a ppump thing. @Tom Robarts; you can get the 750hp if you want it with the vp. But your injector choice and secondary turbo will need to be changed.
  18. Least my couplers are on point.
  19. Take it BACK to the shop that built it before you do anything. It is likely the gov pressure sensor and transducer.
  20. It's in timeout behind the shop. I'm sure the fuel gelled as it was summer fuel. And the battery will be dead.
  21. While a properly sized turbo (compressor, turbine and exhaust housing) will not need a gate anything undersized will. Issa long dark deep worm hole into that side of things.
  22. Yayyy crappy spring tbolt clamps! And those boots are meh. Hps hoses. Aramid. Hoe.
