A couple codes
P1765 is from using a jumper harness for a lock up switch. Not familiar with the P0622.

Smarty/TST stack still relevant?
It wanted to surge when I had it. It has been a long time so my memory is a bit fuzzy. Using cruise was not fun.

Gauges, Bus and Distribution Block issues
Ok, that sounds like you have terminal issues with the cluster connectors. It does not take much to spread them or push out. I would start there. The pcm and cluster in the 98-02 are the masters on the ccd bus.

VP44 PSG5 limitations read/write
When you get a free second. Go out and brake torque the truck. Watch what the tach goes to. I haven't experienced a truck yet stack the shifts with a tight converter. I have however experienced one that will stack the shifts with the tv cable not adjusted correctly.

truck will only run with c3 unplugged on PCM!!!!
This sounds like the truck Motor City Diesel was trying to fix? The next step I would suggest is get the pinout of the C3 and start tracing everything in that connector. I know blue chip told them the vss typically caused it in the past.

Gauges, Bus and Distribution Block issues
It was 100% designed that way. What are the codes you have present? The ECM sends ect, oil and tach to the pcm. What is being "messed with" to get the functions back for a short period of time?

A loose converter can make it feel like the shifts are late as it is just spinning the converter vs. transferring power through the transmission.

Valve Spring seller?
I didn't see the other thread. Off the top of my head, it should be a direct swap. Use the rubber flex line from the disc truck. You may want to swap proportioning valves and/or master cylinders. Just going off of what I remember from others doing it.

Valve Spring seller?
That would be on Cummins. I'm talking on the Dodge side of the court.

Valve Spring seller?
No Limit Mfg. @TFaoro Oh steering and axles in 2nd gens. Y'all have no idea how bastardized these trucks really are. If Tyler or @Me78569 were near I would show them all the crap in star parts. Would make your heads spin.

24v stalls when put in gear
Horse pucky it can't be the trans. The only time I have ever had a stalling issue is when pop pressure is too high and converter stall is too low. IF this didn't start until after the trans....guess what.

02 Cummins 1850rpm max
It is just the design of the nozzle. In the size you are looking at there is little to no difference. I hate this bloody link as it is nothing but propaganda but it shows the difference. Keep in mind there are literally millions (probably close to 10s of millions) of vco nozzles in service. http://www.engineered-diesel.com/blog/sac-nozzle-vs-vco-nozzle/

Boost low, egts high and mpg down
What style hx35/40? As some jump to the larger hx40 turbine.

Tach trouble on new build
Is it throwing any codes related to the cam sensor? The build date doesn't tell you what year it is, the 10th character of the vin does.

Valve Spring seller?
Fyi aftermarket cams are nearly useless in a vp truck. I would not waste the money on one unless the cam is towing oriented.

PCM starting issue
Be very careful using powerprobe. They can be misleading. With the C3 plugged in go to the obd II connector under the dash and using a dmm check the resistance of the CCD bus. Key off.

This useless computer doesn't like the link. Most I know run them 40-60psi. 40psi is more than plenty for a dd.

Valve Spring seller?
Unneeded stress is a marketing tactic Hamilton employs to instill fear into the public. I have had 110s in my 24v for 5+ years with no I'll effects to the cam. As well as many others. Buy what you can afford but do not be afraid.

Aeromotive makes one. Look at the alcohol rated pumps. ;) I fixed my oil leak too. Since you won't answer my text. :"0

Teardown and Rebuild
There are more options for belt driven pumps than what is sold on diesel oriented sites. ;) Either one, I know holley does not recommend the dominator for continues use in high ambient temps.

PCM starting issue
A buddy recently was having the same issue and talked to blue chip about it. They said it was the vss causing the issue. May try disconnecting it at see if the problem resolves.

Teardown and Rebuild
Any of the big boy electric pumps need a 5/8" inlet. Which my holley dominator has. I would suggest looking into a mechanical belt driven or gear driven pump. I run a fuel lab 525 flow through regulator.
