  1. I'll have a picture with them installed in the next couple of weeks. I gotta pull the bumper to test fit due to the sport bumper. I wanted no chrome. They look amazing on the truck with the silver paint.
  2. I do not. I had no idea the vb was capable. Lots of racers use it but it is extremely hard on parts. Think of engine torque multiplied by all the gearing in the transmission and then the axle.
  3. 600rpm loaded is about the norm for a 12v. Should be on the timing case as well for idle rpm unloaded.
  4. Well he hasn't different feelings on what works and for what reasons. One of those things don't mess with it and it will operate fine lol
  5. Welded direct and no thrust on the planet. Rest surprisingly look rather ok. 2nd gear band had some heat to it but od looked very nice comparatively.
  6. Yes, you will have to pull fuel out with them. There is a significant difference between the two nozzle sizes I listed. 6 holes will penetrate the charge better regardless.
  7. It is extremely violent when you find out about it......
  8. Fast way to tell what studs (arp only). 425's are black, the actual stud. 625's are silver.
  9. Likely needs a sending unit for the fuel gauge. Bump the idle up by using the bolt at the back of the pump. Requires 2 10mm wrenches. YOU WILL NEED A HELPER. Start truck, hold brakes (what helper is for), put in gear and turn on a/c. Set to desired.
  10. So I bought a core 47re a month or so ago. A buddy came by as we tore down the trans from my green truck. Figured might as well get started on the core trans. Well here is what we found so far LOL. Plan as of now for the trans is to go in the 12v once done. Will get a dpc reman triple. Already have the full rebuild kit, billet input, tcs servo & lever kit, and goerends vb. I will be making my own laminated flex plate. This trans came out of a v10 truck.
  11. 7x.010s or just jump to a 6x.013 and back fueling down A LOT.
  12. Nope. Had some issues when I installed them and had to remove. I stripped one of the projectors and just got the new one yesterday. Sucky part now is I have to pull the bumper to test fit and align that light now.
  13. I painted the housing to make sure no light was reflected out of them.
  14. Tires seem to make the biggest change. Are you running around empty most of the time or?
  15. Good ol screwdriver trick :rof
  16. Why in the world did I think you had the open hole one like I did.....
  17. The tappet cover he has is completely open for the holes. Nothing to slow down or condense the oil before exiting. I had a similar issue when I tried to use it. I did warn him it was going to push oil out of them lol
  18. We getting ready to do both this weekend lol. Stop on by.
  19. Pah, nonsense. Can't be any worse than what was in my vp setup. LOL
  20. Not nearly complicated enough for an engineers watch LOL
  21. Is the pinion scored? Did the tension spring come out of the new seal when it was installed? Is the pinion loose causing it to walk?
  22. Because we are humans and cannot leave anything tf alone lol
