  1. . How does one do a burnout in a way that reveals a baby's gender?
  2. I'd try cutting some open cell foam packing type material to fit in the cylinders. Put a screw down through to use as a handle to pull out and push in the hole just below flush. Do the scraping and clean up, remove and repeat. Or cut out 6 of them and do all at once.
  3. In case you have not read it yet...........
  4. Readings get higher when the grids pull a load on the alternator. If written correctly your readings are very acceptable. Not many see as low as .017.
  5. Someone on here has done the 'under hood mouse nest delete'. I laughed like H when I read that . I've had to perform that mod a few times since I live in the woods and my trucks not used on a daily basis.
  6. I'd like to hear @dieselautopower's explanation. I'd hate to miss out on a free performance upgrade
  7. I'll be watching as this is more than likely in my future. What work are you getting done to the head? Can't believe how big the daffodills are and how green the grass is there. Send it north a little.
  8. I have a 5" Diamond Eye system on mine. When working it hard it roars to the point I can't hear the wife in the shotgun seat. You'll have to decide for yourself whether that's a good or bad thing.
  9. Sorry if I missed something here. We went from rebuilding to drilling and milling. I can do those things easy enough. What is the improvement in drilling the hole to 7/8 and milling the divider? Is this just a standard HX 35 or is it a hybrid or being used for twins or something?
  10. Keep your wings tucked!
  11. Sounds like you'll be running around like a chicken with it's head pulled off.
  12. Left them alone basically. And clean the snow off so it doesn't lay on them all winter.
  13. Nice bumper sir! Don't worry about the weight, you made what you want to do what you want.
  14. You've never seen mine then
  15. Dad had a cheaper single ram before this PEQUEA I have now. You had to climb up in the bed to get it to go down when it was empty and cold. A scissors hoist is stronger with 1 less, and shorter cylinder to potentially leak and fix.
  16. Now that's more like it. Nice truck.
  17. They're done in PA now. You can send them to Oregon.
  18. A couple boosted launches will wear that new right off
  19. I agree. Good advise.
  20. I like the braces. Nice touch. That's where a bumper always gets tweaked and pushed into the bed. Those should help a bunch.
  21. I had that also with this last set of Transforce's. They're a deep treaded tire. Wiggly as heck for a while on the 4 lane. Like I had to wear the shine off so they could grip or something.
  22. From what I'm seeing the prices on these trucks are being artificially inflated by demand. The demand being a lot of young kids spending Dads money on the latest fad.......diesel pickups. What they want though is short bed quad cabs and not dually flat beds. Thats how I got mine so reasonable. I didn't really need a dually but it was 6-8k less than what comparable 2500's were bringing at the time. And it's more truck. No brainer for me. Unfortunately though people think if a rusty QCSB with 300k mi. and a hood stack brings 12k then their single cab dually should be worth the same. Personally I wouldn't give a nickel for a short bed anything because I need a truck for a truck. That's just me. I'd let him set on it for a while and see what happens. He might be willing to face reality in a couple months. But then again...................
  23. It's tough to say. In the end it's worth what it's worth to you. To me I'd want to be closer to 8k
  24. Sudden white smoke to me would seem like a fuel timing issue ie. seized timing piston in the pump. But that should have thrown a 216 code I would think,
  25. Did I ever tell you all about my Spicer ball joints?
