Here's what I can do to help. At the top of the page is a 'Downloads' tab. In the menu is a download for the 2001 FSM, and 1997 wiring maps and FSM as well. Headlamp switch is in section 8W in the 2001FSM. By comparing the two you should be able to get an idea on what's going on.

Have you tried Rock Auto? They seem to carry a bit more than NAPA, AZ, etc. There's also a search engine for scrap yard stuff. Carpart.com or something like that. I know @IBMobile has posted it before.

ATF is about the best carb./ injector cleaner you can buy, and cheapest too. I run some through my old Ferguson every now and again. Skidloader's gonna get a shot too here shortly. Not sure I'd use it in a HPCR diesel though (disclaimer).

Depends on your definition of 'hold'. Running around town empty maybe but not towing or playing. At least not with the stock converter. Even with a billet upgrade you'd be on the edge IMHO.

'They" say if you pick them up by the tail they can't spray you. Trouble is getting to the tail in the first place. 'They' also say if you throw a cover over them they can't spray. I have not tried either. Let me know how you make out. Years ago I had a family of skunks after my chickens (yes @dripley I'm coming out of the closet). I set traps and caught a bunch of them but what an awful stinkin mess (the shunks).Lasted for more like a week or 2. I probably should have just let them kill the chickens instead Just had another thought. Place this picture where the skunks are. Guaranteed they'll get the heck out of Dodge.

It's been a while but from what I remember you are exactly right. You can turn the cap wherever but the wire the rotor points to on TDC needs to be the first one in the firing order.
