  1. That is correct. I didn't think so but I found out during the ground mod that the trip does reset after disconnecting the batteries.
  2. Injector lines can be a real pain to get to seal sometimes. I'm still fighting #1 for a weep. I've never had any spray or really dump fuel though. I guess the radiator leak could whistle since it is under pressure. Have you done a boost leak test? There's an article here somewhere.
  3. Glad you're back again. I, for one was a bit concerned. Seems like every fire company in PA is having a chicken barbeque this time of year. Did you get that guy to give you a spray tan?
  4. I'm about to believe there is no normal. My re-man 50's are down to 4% load and up to 805rpm idle within 200 miles. Some would say to replace them already. Another member has 860ish idle but IIRC around 10% load on his new ones. Seems every truck is different. Part of me wants to pull mine and have them popped to 320. But then 320 is not advisable on anything less than 100's I guess. It runs good and has a noticeable improvement in power over what I took out so they're gonna stay in for now. Just can't believe mine settled in sooooo much in 1/2 a tank of fuel.
  5. I like DEKA too. They are made right here outside of Reading, and Iowa as well. I know a number of people who work there so I like to support them and the local company whenever possible. They make a darn good battery too.
  6. Would love to ask him but where is he? Flew the coop again?
  7. I guess it is like a savings account. I mean, I'm always putting money into it

Very good info. on how to improve the Dodge's anemic grounding system.
  9. Finally got around to doing this. Was nice to be able to work on an improvement instead of fixing something because it broke. A few things from my view. To those who say it only takes a n hour, congratulations, you win the race. I'm a pretty competent wrench being an industrial mechanic/machinist by trade, but it took me an hour just to get it in the shop and unravel the loom. I don't rush when I'm doing my own work though either. Just saying to those who are gonna do this if you're saying to yourself, I've got an hour before I got to head to work so I can knock this out quick, you might want to wait till you have a little more time. My splice was glued together very tight. I could not get it apart. My AC noise was never that high to begin with and maybe that's partly why. Still good to get rid of that junk though. I'm not arguing for or against paralleling cables, but I did it. The guy who originally figured this out is much smarter than me. My word, it would take me the rest of my life to write one of his epistles on the subject so why not follow what he said. Can't hurt anything and I was at the shop to get the breaker anyhow so I had a pair of cables made up and used them. To each their own. I was a little confused with the last step in the simple article. It appeared to me that the old ground plug was to be used. I didn't want to use it so I cut it off at the battery only to realize the PCM splice was there. Oh well, now the @IBMobilePCM splice repair is done as well even though I didn't plan on it at that moment. In the end it's a lot cleaner. I need to get some smaller loom yet to run across the front. I was at .03acv and now depending which meter I use I'm between .017-.02avc. Just wanted to share my experience. One more off the never ending list.......
  10. Been wondering too. Hope he's not in the fryer. Kinda miss his help when we're de-railing a thread
  11. Round about 10pm Saturday, just make sure you grab the right bottle. Too many choices can be a bad thing.
  12. Could also pass for a Miller Lite. Oh, wait. You already said urine sample.
  13. Weird. Mines red Seriously though, I've never poured it in a jar to look but it doesn't look like that here. Has a green tint to it. It's not bio though. I have no experience with that.
  14. Tell me again why I NEED to be on Facebook.

  16. Good article. I would only add that the crossover tube should be tightened BEFORE the hold down clamp so that the injector can move slightly to line itself up with the crossover tube if need be.
  17. One day I'll get around to doing this. Nice to know this is here when that day comes.
  18. I used this article when chasing my 'no bus' issue. Helpful info right here.

Great site for Dodge Cummins info. Honest, reliable information is the norm here.
  23. After a few Blue Moons it's really not that bad. Of course it helps if you remove the feathers before throwing it in the microwave.
  24. Good, now we got that straightened out. I think it's illegal for chickens to like ducky's anyway. Something in the avian code of ethics. There's your crow
