  1. You can go to the article section an get the ECM and PCM wire diagrams. Someone else may have the volt/ohm values for the system. https://mopar1973man.com/cummins/articles.html/24-valve-2nd-generation_50/51_engine/electrical/2001-engine-wiring-map-r392/ I looked up the wire diagram for a C44075 kit with 47RE. Those connectors are for the transmission TCC and OD solenoids along with the OD switch. They would not keep the truck from starting. The only thing that interfaces with the ECM is the data link connector.
  2. On a side note, Pacbrake recommends using their "Exhaust Brake Maintenance Lube" part number C18073. You can find it on eBay for between $18 and $26 ($4.5-$6.5/oz) for a 4oz bottle. I did some research with Material Safety Data Sheets and found Super Lube "Multi Purpose Synthetic Oil" was the same lube. You can go to Home Depot and get a 32oz bottle of Super Lube "Multi Purpose Synthetic Oil" for $23.68 ($0.74/oz) and go to a hobby store and buy a 4 pack of 4-5oz squeeze bottles, for a few dollars, to apply the oil with. I all so added an on/off switch in the red wire with the 3amp fuse that goes to the ignition source. This is so I can control the air compressor/e- brake not to come on as soon as the ignition to turned on.
  3. That's what I would do given it ran fine before installation of the e brake.
  4. Tripple check th Tripple check the wires you tapped or cut at the PCM during installation. It's easy to get them confused.
  5. @Auto Computer Specialist You will find them in the Vendor, Dealers and Classifieds section.
  6. Don't get me started. This assault on world democracies started on a global scale well over 140 years ago. Look at what the liberal/progressive/communist coalitions have done to France, Germany, Portugal, Canada, and England to name a few. We're circling the drain with the rest of them. I won't talk about Italy, that country hasn't been right since the last Roman emperor Romulus Augustulus was overthrown in 476AD.
  7. The other 10% are driving a Prius. All is forgiven
  8. Would that be a type of parts counter worker skills test?
  9. One of our camping friends, Dave, has a 4-cylinder Ranger, forgot what year, with 2 sparkplugs per cylinder. He had a misfire and it set a code P0303 misfire #3 cylinder. "Sure Dave, I'll just replace the sparkplugs and plug wires". Right side wires and plugs took about a half hour with compression test. Left side was over 3 hours to do, what a pain.
  10. He'll ask if you want an order of fries with those sparkplugs.
  11. @Vinster_Beta, Get the pipes to the cooler too.
  12. That's where my temp sensor is located also. This location informs me how hard the transmission is working before cooling/heating influences the readings. As for which heat exchanger to buy, I haven't had any experience with replacing mine, but others here have and will give quality info on the subject.
  13. This might help answer the question. https://legionmagazine.com/en/2022/02/the-royal-navys-war-on-trees/ 81°F/27.2°C right now but forecasted to be 103°F/39.4°C by Sunday.
  14. I hope to see an article about this fix coming in the future.
  15. Some people say less than 0.05VAC is passable but I like to see the voltage 0.030VAC or less.
  16. Finally had time to install a pressure gauge to the transmission and check line pressure with E-brake function. It didn't matter what gear the transmission was in, or the speed the truck was going, line pressure was always 100psi with the E-brake engaged or not when decelerating. I even had it locked up in 1st gear. Second gear is a bit tricky because sometimes the E-brake would come on and other it would not engage or lockup; this is why I want to put a "command on" switch in the system. At idle, Line pressure @ 81°F was 90PSI and @190°F was 80PSI. All pressures were reduced by 10PSI when operating temperature was reached.
  17. It does. There is a bypass valve which is the pressure regulator with the return line going to the filler neck. The valve/regulator is not internal.
  18. What I would like to do is use the momentary switch, that is on my shifter, to engage the EB when the Pac Brake controller won't let it. I think I can wire it so the solenoid will put air to the piston but lock up of the convertor may be a problem. I tried running the EB with my mystery switch set up and the convertor would not unlock on command unless the engine was shut off and restarted.
  19. School districts and the teacher in them have been teaching the progressive ideology which includes critical race theory and woke culture. Now some of those teachings have come to fruition and are being implemented in their workplace. The agreement between the Minneapolis school district and the Minneapolis teacher's union states "if excessing a teacher who is a member of a population underrepresented among licensed teachers in the site, the district shall excess the next least senior teacher, who is not a member of an underrepresented population." This means the school district will lay off white teacher, no matter how much seniority they have, before “educators of color”. The agreement further goes on to state "the district shall prioritize the recall of a teacher who is a member of a population underrepresented among licensed teachers in the district." This means “educators of color” will be reinstated first. This district policy will take effect spring of 2023. I smell a civil rights lawsuit here.
  20. Found this list of line pressures when the transmission was first installed after Dynamic rebuilt it. Line pressure, transmission in drive: no throttle stopped 85 PSI light throttle 2ed gear 105 PSI light throttle 3ed gear 110 PSI light throttle 4th gear 120 PSI @ 2200 RPM W/O throttle 1-2 shift 180 PSI @ 2800 RPM W/O throttle 2-3 shift 175 PSI @ 3100 RPM W/O throttle 3-4 shift 150 PSI W/O throttle 4-3 shift 150 PSI 100% throttle 4th gear TCC locked @ 70 MPH 160 PSI 0% throttle 3ed or 4th gear TCC locked down hill slowing 100PSI reverse gear stall test 330 PSI When the E brake is on, and the transmission is in 4th it will not down shift until truck is stopped unless I manually downshift. When the transmission is manually downshifted the E brake kicks off and will reengage if throttle is applied. It is a low stall speed, about 800RPM.
  21. Yes, but it may be a while before I can get to it. Not sure. I drop it in to second when I'm below 40MPH and the brake turns off quickly after that.
  22. I have a @Dynamicbuilt trans and a Pac PXRB and do get engine braking in 2ed but it turns off with slow speed and low RPM and not very useful. I've never tested my line pressure with the exhaust brake on, but I know the line pressure is similar to yours going down the road.
  23. and no post repair quality control
  24. Red (positive lead) to the B+ terminal of the alternator; the one with the 10MM nut on it. The black (negative lead) goes to ground. Set the meter to ac voltage.
  25. There is most likely something staying on that you don't see. You will have to perform a draw test to find it. My work van had a bad radio; even thou it was shut off it was using .075 amps. 20 milliamps (0.020 amps) are what you want to see when everything is turned off and over 0.030 amps is a problem. There must be a large drain overnight.to deplete 2 batteries. When the women get charged up near his truck...JAG1 tens to short-circuit.
