Under the Department of Homeland Security, a new division was formed called the Disinformation Governance Board. This board is headed by Nina Jankowicz known for providing and promoting her own disinformation along with antifree speech rhetoric. Ms. Jankowicz said on TikTok "One of the key reasons the Board was established, is to maintain the Dept’s commitment to protecting free speech, privacy, civil rights, & civil liberties.” Do you really believe that statement when it was revealed in 2013 that the Ohio office of the IRS was weaponized by Lois Lerner? Ms. Lerner had ordered a greater investigation on groups from the Tea Party movement. It's only a matter of time until someone in government turns the GDB on the citizens for the investigation of speech crimes. @Threadzycould cut sometime off by going over the Sonora or Tioga passes and not pulling a trailer, pulling a trailer over those passes is not advised. Also, he should check to see if the passes are open.

I replaced my AC cover about 5 years back with one from IconDirect.com. They advertised the plastic being thicker than original but when I received the cover it was a lot thinner than the original one. Also, the screw holes did not line up and drilled new ones. Before I installed the cover it was washed then 3 coats of Rust-Oleum Painter's Touch 2X for added UV protection. It's been holding up well so far.

One of the best parts of the trip is the food. For breakfast we'll have burritos filled with fried potatoes, eggs and bacon or sausage. Everyone brings a dinner or two. This year I'll be bringing my signature spaghetti sauce, with salad and garlic bread filled with cheese. The other meal I'm planning on making is crispy pork carnitas, with corn tortillas, smoky Spanish rice, refried beans, Pico de Gallo, and fresh salsa Verde. Of course, all meals are followed with pie and ice cream. @JAG1brings killer handmade hamburgers, that he grills, with homemade Mac and cheese.

Last month I bought 2 Monrow rear shocks for a Volvo from Rock Auto. They listed them as the last 2 on clearance and half off. When I got them the Monrow boxes were taped up like they had been returned. They installed and worked fine. I checked RA web site a week later and they had more of them at full price. I use Monrow shocks in Volvos because they give a softer ride. This week I installed a set of Bilstein shocks on a 07 Toyota Tacoma rear axle, need to do the front axle next week, and find that the "gas charge pressure" of the Bilstein shock is much greater than the Monrow shock. It took a lot more force to compress the Bilstein shock than the Monrow shock.
