Good question,

Home made injector pop tester
Beautiful work and good write up. I thank you for the warning about working around high pressure liquids. It can do damage to such a degree that they almost always have to amputate.

Rocker panels cab corners
That Guy, very cool. Lucky to have no compound bends or curves to deal with. In a sense, made to last because you can work on it instead of scratching your head. Or like IBMobile, who is very smart.... drives 1500 miles to my place and has me do all the scratching.

Wealth acquired by vanity shall not last. Sunday lesson for today

Rocker panels cab corners
Maybe IBMobile has a picture although he's been a bit lax on that lately. You can always tell where Dripley has parked by the red rusty streaks running toward the parking lot catch basin.

LED light strip
They would look great. Something like that could have saved Jane Mansfield back in the day.

Thanks. It looks even better after I get a chance to lay Olive Oil on it.

wipers
We won't be able to breath till you post a picture of the work when done. And Dripley won't be able to work on the Chick-Fil-A's. much.

COVID blues
Just read last night about a new strange Virus in India. Last couple days over 100 hospitalized and one death. They do not know what it is , that is all they know. Sad!

What do you mean?
He drives like me on back roads. Like an old grampa never worrying about time. Enjoying every moment. Once between major wind storms everyone was warned to stay home, I left right then(total rebel) and got a three hundred mile run with no one around. It was sweet at 45 all the way.

My new 2006 Dodge Ram 3500
What I hear it's too competitive so you end up working on too tight of a margin. Makes for very unhappy situation. I would entertain the idea of hauling RV's for private customers. Not the dealers unless they are very exceptional and unusual people. There are those times in my life when good business people came along that actually care about your bottom line that care you do fine. Those are the ones to look for. It's better to price a job correctly and not get it, than it is to bid low and get it which never allows for incidentals/ problems,

My new 2006 Dodge Ram 3500
I hope it all works out. Best the way it happened because if you did the work then you'd be out trying to place a mechanics lien and have a hard time to find it for possession.

Two stroke oil comparison
Only thing I can add is that whenever I use Supertech, (which is a long distance for me to go get) I notice it is watery as compared to the other brands I use. I don't know what that means? I'd like to see a picture of Dieselfuture's favorite place he buys fuel.

Electrical questions/troubles
I posted a minute ago and everything was deleted on just an edit for spelling. Even Dumb A's post that I quoted. What's with that? Basically I made up the rules to make the OP feel welcome, that we aren't the Gestapo.

Electrical questions/troubles
We have two rules around here..... number one, it okay to hijack a thread every once in awhile. Number two, never assume the most expensive items on your truck first.

wipers
Yes, I need filters too...... on my 01 the evaporator was almost half clogged with debri and the blower cage/ fan was full of leaves at 190,000. Anyone know if there is a fix for wipers that sometimes stop in the wrong place. They always correct themselves eventually, but wondering if there is an adjustment somewhere. T.I.A.

Electrical questions/troubles
In my case I shorted the ecm ground to positive. I was so tired from working too much I got things crossed up. It turned out okay though and I hope it does for you also.

Electrical questions/troubles
When I shorted mine one time MoparMan suggested I unhook the batteries for a half hour. It solved the problem of the gauges not working and settled down to where they should be reading. I hope you get it smoothed out.

COVID blues
Are you guys saying that slavery never was abolished? That all us hard working people are kept into slavery by big corporate and people in Government? That by raising prices, while at the same time closing out peoples jobs is sure to keep us there? That by keeping us in poverty, as compared to the wealthy, that it guarantees their continued wealth? This must be why they want Trump out.... the real reason anyhow.... because I know he is for all of us to do well. I really don't know what to think any more. I see people drunk with materialism and stuck on this me myself attitudes. Only about a fifth of people I deal with are caring enough to give you full information you need or other needed help. I try to be helpful in many ways, many situations. People sometimes don't appreciate it which is weird, but I know those who are considerate of others always seem to do well.

Let them have free rein to flock up the entire system and in four years Donald (the man with sense and logic) will come back with a landslide win.

Can't get front brakes to fully bleed
When bleeding you want to push the pedal all the way almost to the floor with engine off. I do most bleeding by myself with a one way check valve bleeder on the end of the clear tube, but also in the jar. When most air is gone (not seeing much in the clear tubing) I have my wife help with further bleeding the old fashioned way (open and shutting the valve) because I could still see small amounts of air returning up the clear tube everytime she helped when the pedal came back up. You need to start with the passenger side first then the drivers side, but you have to push the pedal all the way down almost to the floor when bleeding. I generally don't let the resovior go less than half full. With each pedal pump the fliud should go down about 1/8th of an inch each time. I just did my fronts last sunday with one new caliper and pads..... it took about a half a bottle. To check for air in the system while driving, pump the brake pedal several times, if there is air in the system the pedal will come back up like normal for just a split second, but then go back down.

Greasing front wheel bearing hub.....
Thanks, that's what I been reading with a Google search. One mechanic who services a lot of Dodge Rams for a mining company said in one year they spent 150,000 dollars replacing hubs, but as soon as he started greasing them the cost went down to less than 5% of that. Interesting. One of the two hubs I just replaced last weekend was just starting to have a problem. As soon as I pumped in a few and pushed it down with a ratchet extension it made a marked improvement. I did go ahead and replace it anyway.though

Greasing front wheel bearing hub.....
Amazing Dieselfuture. I hate when they need replacing. It took 3 hrs today getting one off. That was after all the bolts were out. Even the splines to the 4x4 axle had no antiseize on them. I am pretty sure it was original hub/ bearing. (2335K miles) What a pain it was. You feel like you did the impossible. Like gettin' MoparMan to get his firewood in Any way to disable the ABS without throwing codes? I do not like ABS because if you know how to drive, like the old days, you don't need them.
-
Greasing front wheel bearing hub.....
Some guys say there's and others went out at around 100K. So did mine on the other truck, but I'm the one that cooked the brakes on a steep grade with the RV.

Greasing front wheel bearing hub.....
Okay, never remembered that. How do you get non metallic grease?
