1. i just have my 35" spare in the bed chained to the loops for the gooseneck hitch. i get to keep the tailgaite
2. i had one, it worked great and could be flipped to sit in the bed or out of the bed. only thing is it lengthened the truck and you have to run a catch net in front of it if carrying small things (no tailgate) this is with my 35" super swampers here is one with it flipped out and doubled as a cooktop
3. possibly missing the center bearing on the flywheel where the trans input shaft slips into? or when they reinstalled the trans, they didnt align the shaft into the bearing and it pushed the bearing out of the flywheel.

14. for our trucks i just got the scoche adapter kit from walmart and the connector kit. i think both kits were less than $20 On 11/23/2018 at 10:58 AM, Mopar1973Man said: I'm shocked for $29 radio. Like what the heck passes through your mind... lol i still dont understand the question/comment, what passes through my mind? obviously its air.. nothing up there but empty space HAHAHAHAHA
15. mike for the price i am impressed with this radio, sounds good and is much louder than stock! (so you can hear over the engine haha) but yeah i recommend this unit for the budget minded that wants only fm-am/usb/bluetooth no cd (mechless) https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01CG8N0H8/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
16. when i rebuilt my ujoints on the half shafts, i added grease to the cups on purpose (not much) and gently put them back on the cross by hand making sure they seat and wiping any excess grease away before final install. almost 50,000 miles and no issues and they have been used hard offroading in colorado.
17. i did my wear sleeve cold with a brass hammer, took a while but worked like a champ. on the updated gear cover the KDP hole is smaller than the pin itself, its visible but cant get out. i know on my 01 the pin is safe without a tab. but if you want the tab there, nothing wrong with that!
18. i always get spicer ujoints (non greaseable for strength) and timken bearings.
19. installed and works good for $25 the oem unit will be for sale in the classifieds.
20. ill be removing my working cd headunit out of mine
21. i ordered this head unit, its mechless (no cd)<---who uses those anymore lol it is bluetooth so i can stream my techno now yaay https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01CG8N0H8/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
22. couple weeks ago i pulled the seats out and cut the carpet out as it was gone. mold and spilled oil and dankness from the cab brake light leaking (fixed) also had a carpenter ant nest under driver seat from florida that caused surface rust. i wire brushed everything and put the seats back in. I will herculine the cab floor so its easy to clean. I may tackle removing the dash and cleaning the crap out before i replace the ac system. sad they dont have a filter to keep the coils clean.....
