Hopefully this is in the right section? Move if need be... Was looking for anyone in my area that would be willing to help me activate my high idle and change the tire size thing as well.Would be willing to pay for the trouble. Or if anyone trusts me enough, borrow theirs to do it?...I know, probably a long shot...

Good morning folks. Hope y’all had a great Christmas! Amazing how another year has slipped by. Does anyone here have husky liner floor mats? I have tried to find pics of them inside a second gen but can’t and i would like to see how they fit and hear some reviews.

I renewed both sway bar links complete about 18 months ago, now both sets of bushes are split again and it's MOT time. I had a set of Landrover 90/110 rear lower shock absorber polybushes and they are just right for the sway bar link bushes, the ones I have are a flat bush but you can get bushes with a cone shape on one side which would sit in the sway bar better. Could probably do with a thin tube spacer in the sway bay just to centralize it but I didn't have a piece of tube the right size Probably not much use to you guys in the USA but here in the UK and Europe landrover stuff is everywhere, cheapest on Ebay is £3.85 for the set

I am embarrassed to show anyone what lurks under the hood of my truck. Have had a few suggestions, but think it would be good to get this out for everyone. Good products for soaking off grime and grease? I've heard that Simple Green works well (Jag1 says). Concerns about power washer use under the hood?

Anyone heard of putting a bit castor oil in the coolant to help the water pump? Heard someone mentioning that at the autoparts store.

I'll post this here but I believe this could all lead to the thermostat. Anyway, not long ago I replaced the heater core and evap. Removed hvac, cleaned, inspected the foam seals and reinstalled. Now that it's getting cooler outside I'm noticing that it's not putting out the expected heat. I read the heater output write up in the articles section and checked for the movement of the blend door motor, checked to see if the heater hoses were hot indicating flow of coolant, blower motor is functioning as it should. All good. I have noticed though that when I come to a stop light or if I'm sitting still much more than about 30-45 seconds the engine begins to…

  8. It took some modification to the stock grille bracket to make it work, but the install was pretty painless. However, it took "tweaking" the top of my bumper and raising the hood latch to its maximum travel to make it fit. I have a set of sport lights awaiting some relays & diodes, and sooner or later I am going to get a new plate bumper made. It was a perfect night for photos, and I figured you guys would enjoy looking at my baby! (I am not sharing photos of the trucks flaws, but they are slowly being eradicated.) Next on my list is a new cupholder, new overhead light switches, and a functioning A/C Pump!

Sorry for the beginner question but I'm not having a lot of luck with the search feature. I'd like to install some gauges - fuel pressure, boost, & EGT. I understand best accuracy is achieved by selecting a gauge where the engine's normal operating range is in the middle of the gauge's range. But I don't know what is the engine's normal operating range for boost & EGT ('99 3500 2wd auto 4.10). The truck is stock now but I may boost things later for MPGs & towing an RV. Next mod after the gauges will be a decent aftermarket lift pump (100gph).As I recall, before the Turbo is where the probe should be installed. On my first gen that required drilling & tapp…

I was wondering if anyone out there knows if the 8 lug wheel dodge uses is the same as chevy and ford. I found a nice set of ford superduty wheels and tires for sale for pretty cheap and would like to get them. UNLESS they dont fit.

  13. I've managed to get the most out of a single device... The device is my LG G5 cell phone. I recently picked up a gooseneck cell phone holder . This turned out awesome being it will bolt right to the seat frame on the passenger side there is a bolt you can loosen and mount the gooseneck to the seat. Now with a bit of work routing wiring and hiding the wires I've got it cleaned up as much as possible. So what can I do with this setup? My Kenwood stereo has an AUX audio jack so all audio is piped into the stereo speakers. This makes hands free cell phone calls really great. On my SD memory card I store music and movies so when I'm down in Ontario, OR and nothing to do I can …

Hey all, planning/wanting to do the rear pinion seal on my truck and while talking to my dad about it on the phone, he warned about having to re lash the diff after taking that big nut off (the one torqued to 450+ ft/lbs). Is this the case? Truck I'm almost certain has a Dana 80 due to it having the 6sp from factory. Any knowledge or tips or suggestions are appreciated! Thank you all.

  16. Mine leaks where barb enters tank. Can the grommet be replaced, if so where might I find replacement. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks Leaky

  17. I am in need of more tie down options than the four measly rear and floor tie downs in my short bed. I have a shell so that takes away the stake pockets. What options have you guys come up with? Hooks, rail systems, I am open to all ideas? Curious to see some setups.

Lately I've noticed my fan works really good sometimes and then other times it just doesn't feel like giving 100%. Sometimes I can feel the air on my face sitting back in my seat and other times I have to be right next to the steering wheel to feel it. It usually changes after the truck has been stopped and then re-started. I've never noticed it to change while driving. Is there anything I can check or am I too assume the fan will be exiting stage left eventually?

  20. I'm not good at all when it comes to electrical. I would like to wire up some fog lights, rear back up lights, third brake light on my topper and moon visor lighting. I'd like to know if I can just wire the third brake light into the tail light or hitch wiring without a relay? It's LED I believe... The moon visor lighting... can I just wire it into the headlight switch somehow.. without relay? I already have fog lights in the factory location in the bumper but are not factory wired. The previous owner installed with relay and toggle. I want to run another set of fog lights under the bumper on a toggle. I have wiring and relay that came …
