Discovered black particles/flakes in my fuel tank. I assume this is from BIO fuel. Wiped what I could reach out of tank as well as residual diesel. Would like to wash it out in effort to reach crevices etc. Any suggestion on a cleaner I might use? Thanks. Leaky

I bought this truck from my brother in 2007 with 80,000 miles on it. It now has 138,500 It seems like lately every time I turn around I'm putting money into this truck. I use it mainly during hunting season and a handful of times throughout the year after that. I've flushed the radiator and changed the coolant twice while I've owned it. I haven't had it checked out yet but I have a coolant smell coming from it. I'm guessing it's the heater core so I called the dealer, OEM parts $950 and a local radiator shop unknown parts $750 It's got rust from living here in Michigan and I was thinking about getting rid of it 2 years ago but I was tol…

Hi all!! My headlights are extremely dim in high and lows! If I didn’t have a light bar I would have already been in the ditch probably! Lol not quite that bad but they are definitely abnormally dim! What should I check test etc ? Thanks

Treated the truck to new front pads today. The one caliper was kind of sticky so I put 2 re-man calipers on as well. Got it all bled out and went for a test drive and it all works well. I swear I can feel less rolling resistance. Got back and checked things over and noticed fluid weeping from the one banjo bolt. Checked the other one and same thing. In 30 years of doing this I've never had this issue. I tightened them a little more but I just can't get the copper washers to seal. I'm considering putting the old ones back on. I'm confident everything was clean when it went back together. Anyone ever have this problem and have any ideas? I hope this won't be like getting in…

Got the death wobble going when I hit a bump wrong, so I suppose it's time for a brace box. Is one as good as another, are they all the same or is there some to stay away from?

What do you guys run for wheels and tires? I'm finally ready to get some real tires so I can drive more confidently in the winter. I really like this setup, but I want to know what you guys think. I'd prefer narrower tires, wheels no bigger than 18 inches and I would like to keep the tires under the body as much as possible but also not rub. The 4th gen 18 inch takeoffs I currently have rub on the control arms so I think I'd need a little more offset/less backspacing.

Im purchasing Carli starter kit for my 01, I have 33" tires and from my understanding i need control arms that are 1/2" extended to push the axle forward back under the truck. Carli's control arms are $700 that seems outrageous to me. Just wondering what you all suggest for control arms, i still want good quality just wondering if there are cheaper options. And is 1/2" the correct added length im looking for? Thanks yall

(Not to much showed up in search) Trying to find some towing mirrors that don't wiggle in the wind, stay put and have good field of view. Any recommendations? Looking at Amazon and other places. Hard to figure out what is best looking on-line. If you have aftermarket towing mirrors and happy with them....What type do you have? I've been using the type that slide over existing mirror, works OK, but field of vision is not very good. Going to be putting in new window motors, might as well add towing mirrors at same time. Thanks

I've been eyeing the projector retrofit that @Me78569 did but didn't want to spend that kind of money right now so I just bought some replacement housings off of Amazon for the time being. These are the ones I purchased: SPPC Crystal Headlights Black With Corner Light For Dodge Ram - (Pair) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00JBIAC3W/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_4l25zb405J5YX Since my factory housings were literally falling apart I needed a replacement ASAP. These looked like they would be a nice upgrade over the factory style headlights and the clear lenses would be perfect for the projector retrofit. The plan was to run these as is for now and retrofit some Morimoto Mini H1'…

I bought new Taillights for my 96 Ram and there is a clip on the body that the pin for the tail light fits into that is missing. The clip fits into a square hole in the body. Does anyone know where I can find one or is a salvage yard the only place to find one? I'll try and take a picture tomorrow if I get a chance. Bob

I repainted my 96, one of those with the clear coat that seperated. And now I'd like to put the emblems back on. They were put on with double sided tape and I'm looking for a good one that will keep them on. Any help is appreciated. Bob

I had my truck in the shop... for some reason they were dragging their feet about getting to it... I was getting annoyed but then I had a 3 day vacation in the ICCU (Intermediate Cardiac Care Unit), after a first ever episode of A-Fib. OH, yeah, after getting evac'ed in a Rescue before breakfast. Home now & getting used to the additional meds besides my existing disability. I've been unhappy with the way the truck tracks... have to constantly be on it making small adjustments. Already did track bar upgrade. He replaced the steering damper... said it was frozen or siezed. ??? We'll see. Had a bunch of routine maintance done since I can'…

Finally after all this time the steering gearbox now just starting to leak power steering fluid. Input seal is weeping fluid and I had to top off with power steering fluid about 8 ounces worth. So I'm going to have to look into a gearbox seal kit and rebuild my box. I will not replace it with Bluetop or Readhead. Still tight steering just now starting to weep power steering fluid.

So I did the 3rd gen brake upgrade today and while looking things over noticed I only have 2 bolts holding my driver side hub bearing on. I know removing weight helps with mpg/performance and all, but this seems a tad overkill. I ordered a new set of bolts, should arrive tomorrow morning....and I will be taking my car.

Ok first off I get that NONE of you have a need for high steer arms with your fancy track bar and all. But I used a Dodge Dana 60 front in my Cummins swap project and unfortunately with the lift I ended up with, my drag link is ridiculously steep and the bump steer is totally undriveable. My question for you Dodge guys is do you think there is enough meat in the steering knuckle to drill and tap 4 holes for mounting a high steer arm? I know they make high steer arms for the ball joint 60's used in the Ford Super Duty but for obvious reasons no one makes one for the Dodge axles. I attached a picture in case anyone would like to have a look while they ponder. The white dots…
