Sorry if the title doesnt make sense Im wondering if its possible to swap from the engine mounted APPS to the 3rd gen style pedal. Both are 6 pin connectors. And honestly i hate that anytime i wanna do something to the drivers side of the engine im running into the sensor being right there in my way. The only thing that would pose an issue would be the TV cable but Im sure theres a way around that.. Just food for thought.

So, across the road from me and maybe 300 feet back, they are installing a new natural gas pipe line. It's 24" and ~1200 psi. BIG. Anyway, that means welders and trucks. With Delta just having coming through, it has taken over 3 days for the pasture to return to its normal not swamp state. I was looking out of my garage when I hear a V8 through flowmasters revving up, I turn to see a 2000ish Chevy z71 pull out on the road and then what sounds like a he caught the gate and is dragging it. He stops after about 40 feet. Goes into reverse, stops goes forward and then comes screeching to a halt. Then he floors it and I hear what sounds like a drawer of…

Finally moving my Raptor FRRP to the frame rail. Using the Vulcan mounting bracket. Does it matter which direction the pump hangs? Not meaning vertical vs horizontal, but can the bracket be flipped so the pump “rests” on the bracket as opposed to hangs from it?

Hey,I was curious...I have a BD Power box which has levels up to 5-5. It is just like the Edge Comp. I was curious if Edge can make it "hot" like the Comp Drag to keep fueling up to the 3200 rpm range??? I have been told it the same as the Comp but different label because BD Power bought some of these boxes from Edge and slapped their name on them. Does anyone have any idea? Thank y'all

So I've been reading about swapping over to the later 2nd gen "01-02" fuel canister/filter. I am curious just how much better the later model canister flows compared to the original? Will the current filter set up that is on the truck keep my fuel pump from adequately fueling the injection pump? Thanks.

Replacing my manifold and was curious what you guys think is the best place to run a pyro if you are only using one. I was running a single pre turbo but debating adding a second or relocating my single. I know this horse has beaten a lot but I couldn't seam to find a good thread on it here. Does post only give you a better actual turbo temperature and that's it or are there other benefits to post turbo probes?

ok quick question ....i know the 98.5 nv4500 from factory was supposed to produce 230 if i remember correctly ..so nowfor the question ...over time if nothing significant (broken pieces in the motor or drive train) can one expect to lose ....mileage is 295,543. The reason i ask is im trying to figure where i currently stand horsepower wise ....i know the only true way to know is to put it on a dyno ....unfortunatley none close/affordable

Who makes the best valve body for a 47re? I'd like something with 2nd gear lock-up. I noticed that there's a major price diff between BD and ATS (with BD being substantially more) so I'm wondering which to go with when the time comes. Or maybe a different brand, depending on what you all think.

Back again. I towed the tiny house from Tucson to Denver last summer and it was a little slow. Besides being heavy, the house is just as aerodynamic as a 13' x 8.5' flat wall. I couldn't shift into 5th on the nv4500 unless I was going downhill. I couldn't keep up with the semi's at 65 mph unless I was running 4th at 2400 rpm so I just cruised at 55. The rollers between Trinidad and Pueblo had me in 3rd at 40 mph. There are a lot of rollers. All I want to do is use 5th gear to keep up with the semi's and maybe go over a rolling hill in 4th. Anyway, 'tis the season of sales on upgrades so I got a Quad v2. I'm sure the quad will help add f…

Gang, I got to looking up latter and traction bars and came across these: http://www.tuffcountry.com/miscellaneous/traction-bars.html I was wondering is anyone is running a set and if they do anything?? I like the idea of them not hanging down below the frame and they are pretty cheap. I don't plan to race/pull on a daily basis, I just want to help with the hop when I play around every now and then. Also might help when pulling trailer? Any feedback would be great!! Thanks, Winslow

I was casually looking for a transmission line kit and came across this fancy transmission pan. It allows you to bypass the heat exchanger, it has fittings in the pan to run engine coolant. It looks like it could eliminate the possibility of making a large milk shake should the factory exchanger fail. It's not cheap but it has me rubbing my chin and going Hmmmm.
