Got a new toy today
Yeah I know but his case is rather weird. I've driven the truck in snow and its very very spooky to drive. The only way to gain control is change fuel pins. Fuel comes on way to quick also he's extremely light for a 1st gen at about 6,200# empty weight.

too cute, could'nt resist~
I'm going to see if I can find a sign a friend showed me on Facebook. It was a standard 65 MPH speed limit sign but then below it said... "Ford's just do the best you can to keep up." :lmao2:But I can't find it now...

Got a new toy today
I got a buddy with a 1st gen that wishes he could upgrade to a VP44 truck for that exact reason because he's tired of constantly fighting to control the fueling power between summer time when he wants more and in the winter time when he wants less power. He's gone as far as milling different filling pins for summer and winter usage but still you have to pull over, get the toolbox out, and change pins. Mechancial pump are nice because they last forever but not controllable unless you breakout a toolbox.

turbo question
I'm using a Edge Products boost elbow and can bury the boost gauge at the 35 PSI pin in just about any gear. So for the OP problem he need a boost elbow. I personally like the Edge Products elbow because there is no need for adjustment because it stop typically at 32-35 PSI.

Back to stock injectors for a short time
Well I'll have to admit the +50HP injectors pull strong hauling the RV around and the EGT's are much cooler than the RV275's. I was capable of taking on most of Midvale, ID grade in 5th gear hauling along at 55-60 MPH just toward the last little bit of the summit I had to back down to 4th gear but very controllable for EGT's. I had more issues with the blowing winds and the trailer than with truck.

Jobs around the house you hate
There is a few household reodeling jobs I hate... Either drywalling or house painting (interior / exterior). I simply suck at doing either one. But most other jobs around the house I enjoy doing. Mowing the grass, weed wacking, bushing out the hill side, wood hauling, splitting firewood, working on the trucks, irrigation work, fencing, etc.

Hey, dually guys... tire pressure/checking
I use to run stem extenders on the 1976 Dodge motorhome I use to own. I actually drilled a hole and and mounted the stem extenders to the rim instead of the clamp system it came with I found the stem spun off and caught between the tires a few times. Then at the very end before I gave up on the old beast the stem extenders were not holding air any longer and leaking. So if you use these be sure to keep an eye on the inner duals because its possible to not notice the inner dual has gone flat.

Trailer Wiring
Left and right turn signals tap the harness at the left frame rail near the rear end. The parking lamp comes from a splice near the front left fender then to the trailer relay to power all the parking lamps from the same power that constant hot is from. (40A fuse in PDC)

Back to stock injectors for a short time
Let's say the ECM is reporting 15.5% off from actual GPH flows (With the RV275's and Edge Comp 5x3). Then ABS computer is off by 1% on MPH.

A/C doesn't cycle compressor just keeps going??
What's the low side pressure and what the high side pressure? Possible you have a bad low pressure switch that not tripping out proper pressure. Like if you look at the low pressure gauge rthe R134a ring will tell you the output temp of the system.

Not cheating if the gallons consumed and the gallons displayed match...

Latest mod to the truck
Nice flat bed. Now we need to see you hauling one ton hay bails on the bed of the truck.

Need some A/C help
Guys have a point it would be a good idea to drop a set of manifold gauges on and check the pressures of the system and see what happening it might be at 40-50 PSI when you start. Then as the compressor runs a second or 2 then drops below 25 PSI and shuts down.

Finally!
Going to need air bags to level out the truck. Might also take it to a local truck scales and see what everything weighs out at.Hex lets see some inside the RV pictures...Heck I'm hitch up and ready to go. No sag and not even on the helpers...

Back to stock injectors for a short time
Yes it will but there is a flip side to this problem. It not the fuel that becomes a issue but the boost pressure. As you add more fuel there is more boost pressure created and so as you start to get towards 20 PSI the wastegate opens but being you got extra fuel the truck will start to pass 20 PSI anyways and ECM will limit the fuel. So the fueling box is to control boost fooling as well as adding extra timing and fuel the stock software.

Screaming Beavers
Up here Idaho its sold in both states either in full rounds or split. Typically a slightly lower price like $140-$160 for red fir in rounds and $160-$180 split and stacked. Then if you hold out till winter time and all the roads are closed then firewood can be as high as $200 to $250.

Question on gauges???
Just remember when the tuner, computer or display goes you lose all you gauges. But if you go modular then if a single gauge goes you only have to replace 1 gauge. But with the tuner 9 times out of 10 you end up replacing the entire thing maybe under warranty or maybe on your own dime. Something to consider.

My Mutant Lilac
Ahh... The Lilacs!I've got a monster bush next to the front door as tall as the house and another in the hillside near the front door. Another one out near the cherry and apples trees in the front yard. Finally got another bush in the backyard near the generator shed. (That turn out trick panoramic pictures!)Oh... I love the smell of these on a warm morning... Wow!Now get the black berries going...

Question on gauges???
I'm a manual trans guy so...* Fuel Pressure* Pyrometer* BoostThose are the three gauges I run. What I would in your case is consider doing another 4 gauge pod on the column for the trans temp. I'm considering as a toy is getting a rear diff gauge and mounting it on the column and then add a toggle switch so I have a sensor in the diff and one in the trans so I can check either temp on the fly. 2 in 1 combo deal and cover my tail.

Screaming Beavers
Definition of a cord: 4x4x8 feet. (128 cubic feet)Trailer rough measure 8x8x3 to 8x8x4 feet (192-256 cubic feet) Or to make a cord on the trailer: 8x8x2 (128 cubic feet)Needless to say when I started down the mountain the roads where wet and muddy and the first time the exhaust brake hit the trailer was pushing so hard that its started to jack knife the truck at a mere 15-20 MPH. I instantly grabbed the throttle to cancel and pull it out straight again. To fix this problem I had to run 4WD to keep the exhaust brake from jack knifing. Trailer axle was pinned to the trailer frame. My soft Load Range C's where aired up to 50 PSI max and they where looking a bit well soft.
