First winter snow are you ready?
Well Idaho got its first now. As I type this message the snow is falling and sticking in the yard. So in a hurry this morning I got my winter 265's put on, installed the grill winter fronts, and need to change a thermostat. So is your truck ready for the winter cold and snow?I still want to crawl under check both diff's, transfer case, transmission, and grease the driveline. Then I'll think I'll be ready for old man winter.

Acceleration still not completely smooth
You might double check all connectors... Use the wiring diagram to see all the connectors.

Fuel system bleeding down
I would consider havig the ECM reflashed so you can verify that the proper software is installed for your truck configuration.

Dead Pedal
With a failed ECM the voltage will be all normal but the live data from the OBDII port will be one extreme or another. As for the limited throttle response CajFlynn had a ECM fail and cause the same thing. As for the AC high side switch its not even connected to the ECM or engine wiring. The AC hi and lo switch is connected to the PCM.

I hope this doesn't come to Idaho.
That's awesome. A 12 Year old girl protect herself form a intruder. Crime would be much lower if every own a weapon of some sort. It could of much worse if the family did not own a weapon and very possible this new report could be very different about a "Death".

Toyota FJ-60 Wiring / Electrical Guru's
Might want to check the other reverse light bulb and socket for issues.I wish I had books that go that far back. You might have to hit a Toyota site and see if there is any help in the way of wiring diagrams.Anyone else take a crack at this?

Will RV275s Help My Towing Mileage?
My MPG's are good both ways empty (21-22 MPG) or towing (12-14 MPG).

What size Microwave for Camper........
Exactly. I got the small genny for batteries and small appilances I rarely use my microwave at home or in the RV.
-
Chainsaw options
Well said... Yes I had to pick on you a bit. But both saws are very coomon out here. Also its like the Dodge, Ford and Chevy thing every one is picky about brands. But the fact of the matter do the tool get the job done? Sure it does!

Chainsaw options
:rolleyes:Sthl all the way baby... 2-3 pull on full choke. Few pops. High idle mode pull it one more time and she is a running. Lay it down have lunch and first pull she's fired back up.

What size Microwave for Camper........
Well I can tell you my 2Kw genny will not fire the microwave, water heater, or the A/C.But my larger 4.5Kw genny will fire everything in the RV no problems.

ECM ?
From what I've heard there is like 40 different softwares out there with different emission controls, Cal, Fed, etc. Would be best to flash it.

Normal EGT?
Experience of this last pull with the RV...Cruise set at 55 MPH, Edge Comp set at 5x3, RV275 Injectors, and I could climb over mild grade in 5th gear. Now the 2 larger grades I would shift down to 4th gear and rarely did I get to 1,100*F. The weather was cool 45-60*F on both trip to and from.

LMAO!

Which Brake Pads... need to hear your experiences
That's easy don't use your service brakes and have a exhaust brake then you don't have brake dust on your wheels nor do you need to change brake pads...

Acceleration still not completely smooth
Redneck version of LiveOak idea is to keep everything coated with engine oil. Reason... Think about it there is only 2 types of containers that battery acid is sold in. [*]Glass [*]Plastic - And plastic made of what? (Oil!)

New guy with a few questions.
Ok. As for tapping the VP44 that is myth. It will NOT burn out a VP44 quicker. It just gives you full control over the fuel and timing. Without the tap you at the mercy of ECM and smog limits. With the wire tapped you can hold the fuel open to full extent of the module capablities. As for building power another thing to remember don't get carried away with large tires sizes. It best to be a size small and allow the tires to break free than break the input shaft of your transmission. Like myself I've done the 235's for MPG and transmission reasons.

Acceleration still not completely smooth
Got to remember the frost and moisture is collecting on everything so in the morning cold it could be weaking the connections. This might be other connectors like the PDC main plug or the CCD connector above the valve cover. Might double check them and add some di-electric grease to them.

sluggish and laggy...any ideas?
Fuel pressure? What it like between idle to WOT?Boost pressure? Error codes? Yes. Error codes can be present without a check engine light.

Fan Clutch
Sorry I don't. But you could get one at the Dodge Dealer but you'll pay for it.

Like I posted on the other forum. It won't matter if your legal gun owner or not the fact is you have every low life drug user thinking "I know of these people that own guns" and he'll turn you in. Legal owned or not how does the law efforcement know. They just take them. 2nd Admenment Experience in America prior to the U.S. Constitution In no particular order, early American settlers viewed the right to arms and/or the right to bear arms and/or state militias as important for one or more of these purposes:[25][26][27][28][29][30][31][32] [*]deterring tyrannical government; [*]repelling invasion; [*]suppressing insurrection; [*]facilitating a natural right of self-defense; [*]participating in law enforcement; [*]enabling the people to organize a militia system.
