  1. Take a DVM and measure the ohm value on the block heater cord and tell me what you get. I know ISX has the coversion table for this...
  2. Hey Prowelder... I wasn't knocking the 75 HP sticks... Yeah like CajFlynn is running 75 HP injectors as well the last time I knew...
  3. As for gasoline I would never use that... But as for access to #1 diesel is a long way from me (100 miles)... But the local hardware store does have kerosene in stock. But like ISX mention its expensive. But checking over the local fuelstation and talking with the owners I know who is adding PPD's (pour point depressants) the fuel and who isn't... EDIT: I was curious and did a quick search and found this... http://www.toad.net/~jsmeenen/fuel.html
  4. I was just in Riggins, ID today and it came down slightly... $3.639 for diesel Why in the hell is gasoline down to $3.099 I have no idea...
  5. Yeap... The APPS sensor is the same on all 98.5 to 04 (Correct me Wild & Free if I'm wrong)..
  6. 1/2 PVC pipe and kept the end of the down pipe high enough that the front driveshaft can't hit it.
  7. There is a difference then... With mine in a unheated garage hovering around 32-35*F I get about 110-120*F IAT/ECT temps at start up no grid heaters... This is with the hood open too..
  8. I've got a terminal block under the steering column that is all fused... 1. Battery +12V2. Switched +12V (Relay controlled)3. 4. Battery Ground So yes I got a single wire tapping a fuse but its to control the relay for terimnal #2 As for number 3 I was thinking of using it for panel illumination but never did...
  9. You might end up splitting the sink tube to gat at it better... But I'm glad you found a lead...
  10. Hmmm... Could we get a pic of this so I can see what you dealing with?
  11. My Step Dad (rest his soul) he was a big football fan... Matter of fact a Stealers Fan... Myself I can careless for it... Even in High School I never played sports nor did I care too...
  12. When yo plug it in you should hear a boiling noise there in the front of the block. Usually by morning I notice the thermostat housing is warm to the touch. As for plugging in you need it once the temps fall below 0*F... It really does help with cold morning start ups. But I highly suggest you try and get the truck into cover of a garage or shop. Trying to heat a huge 1,000 pound case iron block with 6 gallons of coolant in temps below 0*F with a 750 Watt heater just doesn't do a hell of a lot. Like myself I got a unheated shop so I rather dump the heat into the shop that into the atomsphere... Believe it or not the 750W heater can keep my shop right at 32-35*F at 0*F night...
  13. Actually in my issue its more the cables getting water in them and freezing up... Found out its the passenger side thart hangs up...
  14. Correct is applies to both automatics and manuals trannies... Hmmm... I'm not sure but I'm going to assume it does...
  15. Hmmmm... Test to be sure you got 12V to it and a good solid ground other than that ther isn't much more you can do...
  16. Hmmm... The only thing I can think of is hitting a wrecking yard...
  17. Right here... http://www.casperselectronics.com/store2/
  18. Should work... All I can say is give it a try...
  19. Yeah 94-02 is all 2nd Gen. No... ABS issues can only be handled with a Dodge DRBIII tool which cost about $6,000.00 bucks Yes... Because if you replace a ABS module you got to reset the tire revs and the VIN number.
  20. How do I know you just jinxed me???
  21. Actually we did crap like that when we got assign crap jobs for forestry... Like power washing cars/trucks with a 2 1/2" hose and nozzle at about 50-60 PSI that just about requires 2 people and it sure knock the mud off of the trucks.
  22. So a fire fighter got a crazy idea to strap a fire nozzle to his back...
  23. ISX yanked his out... From what I've seen you need to pull the front off the truck (bumper, radiators, etc) Then drop the oil pan... Then it should come forward after all the other stuff. (Exhaust, fuel lines, electrical, engine mounts, etc)
  24. Should be basically the same... Just a matter of checking the wiring from pin to pin for shorts and opens...
