Expensive fuel and speed!
I played with the downshifting... I got mixed results but most of the time downshifting is a bad thing. As soon as the RPM's pop up the MPG's fall again. Remember you got to fill the cylinders with fuel yet and you Revin' faster now at the same speed so MPG head down... But strange that SPEED is the number #1 killer...

Crankcase Vapor Condenser
Yeah another thing to think about that Dodge's crankcase gasses are vented out to the atomophere... So crankcase gasses shouldn't have any effect...

Cold Feet
sometimes it will dribble back along the drain tube to the firewall and seep back pass the foam seal to the carpet inside.. The solution is to extend the tube down and away from the cab... ;)

Straight Piped Exhaust
I agree with Russ... My straight pipe is rotting away in a rapid way... So if it rots away I'll be looking for a full 4" exhaust system next... :rolleyes

Oil, Antifreeze & Gear Lube
Like myself I'm also running petroleum based lubes in everything and pulling 21-23 MPG which happens to be highier than most... So why waste the extra money on Synthetics when I'm beating most rigs that use it... LOL

Crankcase Vapor Condenser
Hmm... Ford and chevy both got crankcase vents into the inlet of the turbo...I've seen another setup where the crankcase vent was plumbed into the exhaust stream and burnt off in the pyro heat...

Stupidity Charge
I would say the general public is just holding there own... But we are getting smarter than them. :smart It seem like I run rings around most people out here. I just had a vehicle that was broke down yesterday in New Meadows, ID I pulled up and walk over. Just looking at the amount of engine oil pouring out on the ground from the radiator cap my first reaction was "Your head gasket is blown!" :wow The owners reaction was "How much do that cost and can I drive it to Boise, ID to get it fix?" LOL Like I told them the farthest that vehicle will go is from the median to the next side street about 100 feet...

1st oil change
I heard the same thing... BioDiesel and DPF don't mix... As a matter of fact not only Dodge has the problem but VW wrote a article about this too...

high egt temps
I'd say get smaller injectors 75 HP and then throw a enhancement box like Edge on there and that will give you more control over the fuel curve.

Loud Whine

Best Way to Change Brake Fluid
I don't have that bonus at all... My brake res. cap is small and the res. is large with divider inside... That you just can't even drain the other side in the Res. because of the divider inside...

FASS 95
There is either a pump problem or a line restriction. Typically hammer is right and there should be very little drop of pressure. Like myself I know I've got a AD150 but I've only got a 1-2 PSI drop from idle to WOT.Dropping more than 3-4 PSI there is a problem... 8|

were s the best place to turn up my pump and get more smoke
Ahhhh... I did see that truck... :thumbsup As for turning up the smoke that really easy. http://mopar.mopar1973man.com/cummins/2ndgen12v/inc-pump/inc-pump.htm But as what you wife was telling me you trying for the MPG angle. So if you going for the MPG I would look at getting the injection pump timing bumped to 16* BTC and you might look at changing plates at the most... I love those stacks... Huge! But I think you need a single color on the truck... LOL

Stacks Question

Straight Piped Exhaust
For that problem they got what known as a Sneaker Series muffler which happens to be a muffler can with a straight pipe in it... ;)
