A mod I want to do is use an ISSPro addon relay kit and program the relay to be hooked into the CHECK GAGE light on the dash and send the chime signal. This way I could program the gauge relay to trigger the factory chime and CHECK GAGE.- Quadzilla V2 Custom Tunes
As far as I know, Quadzilla does not have any audible alarm only visual yellow bar at the bottom.- Mopar1973Man High Idle Kit Available @ DAP
I see that @dieselautopower has just posted up our High Idle Kit on his website today. There are two places now you can purchase high idle kits now. https://www.dieselautopower.com/moparman-high-idle-switch- ABS or Divider
Rear drum or disc brakes? Drum brakes could be a rust or corrosion issue in the drum. I had this same problem where it would lock up the rear tires really easy on my 1996 Dodge Ram 1500. The thin layer of rust would be just enough to get the brake shoes to be grabby. Might just pull the drums and inspect the insides for rust or broken parts.- Quadzilla & EGTs
Might of slid the EQ knob panning... No biggy.- Steering Box
Blue top is a vendor here give Ryan a shot. https://mopar1973man.com/forum/195-blue-top-steering-gear/ I've just installed a bluetop as well. No issues to report.- Quadzilla V2 Custom Tunes
Something to consider. When Windows is ran from a Virtual Machine virus risk is zero to the rest of you computer. Like Linux has Grub for dual booting. Sad part is a windows boot sector virus can still wipe out both machines. So Virtual Machine the the hard drive is a file. Won't affect your native machine at all if infected.- 2nd gen engine cooling
Dorman started production about 2 years ago.- Quadzilla V2 Custom Tunes
I'd ask @Me78569 to review it. He's the data log guru.- 2nd gen engine cooling
Replacement fan are still in production... https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/dodge,2002,ram+2500+pickup,5.9l+l6+diesel+turbocharged,1440064,cooling+system,radiator+fan+blade,6808 As Geno's said... Not true... As Dorman now is producing the fans for fraction of that $300 price tag. In all the years of owning my truck I've NEVER overheated ONCE. Never had coolant temperature issues even towing heavy.- Quadzilla V2 Custom Tunes
I've got you covered. I'm an Ubuntu Linux guy. What you got to do is download VirtualBox for your Mac. https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads Now on that virtual machine, you install a cheap copy of Windows XP, Vista, 7 etc. Now you can copy the flash file to the desktop of that Virtual Windows and fire it up. Works good for Linux.- Digital all in 1 gauge Cluster
Buy a 4th Gen and a Smarty you can have all kinds of gauges.- balljoint time again.
LOL... MOOG is no longer USA made. It all foreign country produced. It's junk for the 2nd Gens. I won't buy MOOG either.- Digital all in 1 gauge Cluster
1996 to 1998 12V truck have very limited info. I think TPS, speed, coolant temp, Tach and volts is about it. It was a mechanical engine. This is why in 1998.5 the VP44 was released and P-pump was replaced. The OBDII law required that the truck to have more data present at the port so electronics and computer began right here.- I can see!!!
Interesting... Must of been the growth or what damaged the old lens that created the color difference.- I can see!!!
@dripley MoparMom had this done to one eye as well. The only problem to this day is she complains about lens flare on sunny days. She was the same way huge improvement on the bad eye.- balljoint time again.
Has to be something about those AAM axles. Hmmm... Still can't see buying $700 worth of ball joints.- Testing Injector Pop Pressure in the real world
- AirDog 150 - Finally failed
Sorry late getting back to this post. The replacement AirDog 150 pump head came on Monday. Really simple repair. There is only 4 Allen bolts holding the pump and motor to the filter base. The new pump comes with fresh check ball for the inlet this prevents draining back to the tank. There is 2 square cut o-rings little oil on the o-ring and they stick to the pump groove. Now there is 2 fresh dowel pins for location. Clean up the face with a rag and bolt it on. Torque the Allen bolts to 90 in/lbs. Now just assemble the pump in the truck. Now for my first-time run, I just bumped the key and it primed right up instantly. The problem is I was running 3 shims in the regulator and the fuel pressure shot to 25-26 PSI first hit. Now I had to unscrew the regulator and pull my shims out. Now after pulling the shims and bumping the starter again I hit 19 PSI right off. Now my first trip out on Tuesday the first 100 miles was rather disturbing. The pressure was jumping all around. Down as low as 14 PSI and as high as 22 PSI. After spending the day starting and stopping in Ontario, OR. the truck the AirDog pump final settled down to 18-19 PSI and very smooth. The jumpy pressure swings stopped. I might have another 250k mile winner only time will tell..- Testing Injector Pop Pressure in the real world
I wish @Me78569 didn't give up his truck so quick I love to see the out come of his high pop pressures.- I can see!!!
My life is so dirty that contacts are not an option. I've tried them I just hate digging in my eye to get the lens out nad fuss with keeping them clean. Not getting infections in your eyes. That's the way I was previously. I had to hold can or bottles full arms length to read labels. Now my smaller work glasses are awesome for outdoor work and messy jobs. Light on my face and rarely ever slide down my nose. I love the geek glasses they work really good. Now my driving glasses are aviator style lens which are much larger and I've got a set of polarized clip ons shades. Work really well for drive these give me a very wide angle of vision which is awesome no longer got to turn my head to see side mirrors. You know it been part of my life for so long I don't know if I could live without glasses. Some days I take them off and drives me crazy because there is something missing that should be on the bridge of my nose. 36 years of wearing glasses I don't think I could ever switch back to contacts or do the laser eye treatment. Glasses to me are my daily eye protection. Keeps me to see, keeps the bright sun out of my eyes, helps prevent debris getting in your eyes. List goes on...- Testing Injector Pop Pressure in the real world
Betcha if they where stock it would hold up better.- Quadzilla & EGTs
You could drop each of the sliders -2 degree. Would be back close to the default tune- Quadzilla & EGTs
Your device. So like if I was to import that back I would grab my cellphone surf the page and download the file. Now fire up the iQuad app on my cellphone. Switch back to your download and now open it. It will automagically import to the iQuad App. Now shut down the app. Restart and the tune will be in the iQuad. If you don't cycle the app it will act like its missing. But if you attempt to import again it will say it already there. - Quadzilla V2 Custom Tunes
