  1. 85k miles of SuperTech... Mixed at 128:1 ratio of 2 cycle oil to fuel. My last pump went 243k miles before the timing piston seized in the full advanced position.
  2. If it was me I would just change out for a Timbo's APPS being it fully a mechanical APPS sensor and no electronics. Then it a matter of angle to trip the IVS switches than voltage. As long as the angle is right then the IVS should be in the idle position. TPS should show 0% at idle. If you've done any voltage adjustment that is what screwed it up. NEVER adjust the voltage of the APPS to match the tag.
  3. Drop the 5% minimum pump tap to 0%. Push the Boost scaling up to 30 to 40 for sure. Minimum TPS should be pushed up to 30% I like 50% minimum being you stay out of the wiretap for daily driving.
  4. My performance tune is stupid. It got some smoke but really easy to get the tires to break loose. Damn boost gauge snaps 45 PSI just as quick as the wiretap hits. That is a 1,600us wiretap pulse. My Economy tune has the wiretap turned down to the minimum it just doesn't get any lower than 1,200us for the wiretap. The economy tune is clean, just light puffs as the turbo spools. Both tunes are running bit more retard on the 1,500 RPM band once I get 2,000 RPM band it steps up and we get motorvating... (Pun intended!) Economy tune is like my sleeper tune nobody expects a stock tire truck with stock wheels, etc to flat haul . That tune is clean so I get Ford and Chevy always wanting to play. Most of them don't like the outcome. Now the Performance tune has smoke so its a dead give away I've got something to give. Either case I can't keep the tires under the truck either tune is capable of smoking the tires on smooth road surface. Like the fresh chip-coat up here at home, it stays hooked up on the pavement. Smooth city streets can get rather dicey sometimes.
  5. What do you have for the wiretap settings? List them out I can help you out. Just running my Economy Tune which has the wiretap at 1,200 and TPS start at 30% and TPS end at 100% This thing is sick when I bounced around a Ford Truck in 4th gear and the tire break loose and had to drop the throttle, upshift and started pull again and cleared the nose of him by 85 MPH. I was moving.
  6. No. No such PID exist. The DRBIII might have that but most don't have access to such a expensive tools.
  7. 235/85 R16 vs 265/75 R16 which is 1mm taller and 2 Rev/Mile less. But +3 MPH off at 65 MPH ??? Hua? Manual Transmission no slip...
  8. WTS light is based on two sensors. IAT sensor and Battery Temperature sensor. So if the temperature is below about 60-65*F it will trip a single element grid heater regardless of being hooked up to the battery or not. So the WTS light should reflect the normal grid heater operation but you won't see the heavy voltage drop.
  9. I got the new steering Blue Top Steering Gearbox yesterday. Didn't take me much to get it installed. After getting the system filled with fluid and getting the air out of the system. Tell you the truth there isn't much difference between my old box and the Blue Top right off the bat sitting in the shop. Being my old OEM box was tight yet the Blue Top reacts the same way sitting in the shop. Now I roll out the door and get going to McCall, ID. On the highway there isn't much difference between than my OEM box and Blue Top either being you more or less keep it straight most of the time again my old box was still tight. Where the Blue Top Steering Gearbox really shines in in the city. Now hooking right and left turns this box is quick and feels good and fast. I tend to do back streets in McCall less traffic and stop and go. I was able to wheel around the city with better ease compared to the slow ratio box I had. It's Tuesday so I've got to make a long haul today to Ontario, OR today for MoparMom. So I'll get plenty of seat time playing with that box and be able to report even more when I get home.
  10. I'll have to close this thread. I sent my box back as a core being the input end cap has issues with the threads being the cap was rusted in the threads so I ordered a full box.
  11. I would pull that alternator and have it bench tested I'm pretty sure the diodes are gone.
  12. Pair of long needle nose pliers might work better. I've been known to get some out with my angled tipped needle nose pliers too.
  13. I don't know. Payette Lake in McCall Idaho is still iced over yet.
  14. Not likely... Being as a domain gets age it worth more money. So trying to buy an existing domain with any kind of age for 5 to 10 bucks ain't happening. Sorry. Age and traffic are key factors here in domain pricing.
  15. Check out dodgecummins.com at $30,000.00 so yeah it can get rather deep.
  16. Actually, my truck was more pissed off to the fact of the battery being stone dead. Battery charger and the 1996 Dodge Ram 1500 hooked up on the other battery and it took 30 minutes to get it started. After it did start I had a P1688 code. After 5 key cycles, the CEL went off so it's all good for now.
  17. You need to hunt the internet and see if the domain name is available. Just type into your browser any domain name you would want. See if it returns anything. Then check back with GoDaddy domain name search and see if it's available through them. As for GoDaddy or any shared hosting REMEMBER your only paying $5 dollars a month. That not enough for anyone to live on so of course they are going anything they can to see more addons and packages than what you need. They want to make money as well. This one reason I'm not fond of the shared hosting. Cheap servers, limited everything even though that say "unlimited everything". More or less you are buying a "Geo" and asking to jump into the Nascar circuit. Like I said it good start hosting but I wouldn't expect to stay there. If you are looking for domain name based on SEO thoughts then you better look at the keyword you would most likely to use over and over on your own website. Again look at my site my domain name has nothing to do with Cummins or Diesels but I'm up there with all the big names and surpassed many of them on SEO value. Just think a company named "Amazon" they have absolutely nothing to with the jungle, rain forest or South America. Domain name can be anything you wish it to be. So don't let SEO scare you into limited choices. Like my web management I chose "Prevail Web Management". The definition of prevail... Which I've managed to do in two different cases. Yeah, I'll admit my Prevail site is rather ragged and be lacking content but between all the jobs I do, I understand. I'm building it as a notebook of tricks and tips as I learn to overcome different problems. I've got an awesome way to deal with email addresses now and how to deal spammers from foreign countries. So, later on, I've got to update my articles on that site as well as check here and Smarty Resource...
  18. Here is the down low on the alternator noise issue that makes this problem.
  19. Out here its called "Roll Starting". Where the vehicle is rolling and the clutch is dropped on a mid gear. The VP44 and lift pump rely on the tach signal and as soon as that is sensed the VP44 and lift pump come to action.
  20. Let me straight something out... Hosting is going to be limited no matter where you go. Most all have 100 connection limit. so speed and power is limited period. As for how much you can tune to get the most out of it I would say GoDaddy is a good beginner starting spot. Depending on how much content and how fast you keep updating the site and pushing it will determine how fast you'll grow to the limit and outgrow GoDaddy. M73M.com outgrew GoDaddy.com in about 3 years. SEO no host has anything to do with SEO. That is strictly up to you. Hosting company is not going to help nor setup SEO for you. Again this is strictly up to you and what you plan on building. Hence this why I push the Invision Power Board because from the start its SEO is GOOD it up to you to but the less bit of effort into the configuration of the software and your webpages to make it excellent. The biggest problem I see people doing is post a ton of photos and no text/words on a page. This is a dead page and has ZERO SEO. Again it about how much you type in text that people can read produce SEO. SEO is built from URL Links, Title, Keyword usage, and a bit of META tag usage. Again no hosting company will promise good or best SEO. That is strictly on the website owner. You have to have the drive and the want to build a top-notch website. I've seen several website start look pretty and fail shortly afterwards because of praying that good looks would get them that high SEO. Nope... Don't work that way. An example I can use is the policy violator database I built for Smarty Resource website. They needed a way to take care of the vendors that were breaking the MAP pricing policies. I told the owner I have a solution after building the database and tweaking the SEO for the database. I asked Brian the Admin to start filling in the database. I asked him which one was there problem child? He told me It only took me 7-9 days I had that vendor calling the website owner begging to get off that list. This shocked the owner of the website he couldn't believe I was able to do that. I told him I could now remove him at the drop of the hat and make his website disappear in under 48 hours. https://smartyresource.com/policy-violators.htm/ Again another shocker to the website owner. So I've been employeed by Smarty Resource as there Server Admin for now 1.5 years. https://smartyresource.com/staff/
  21. Looks good but... You got to find out how much access to the server do you have? Do you have SSH access on PuTTy? Then if you do can you access your LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, and PHP) settings from the terminal? Most have all this behind a firewall and leaves you hanging this is a typical issue with Shared Hosting. So if the MySQL server isn't tuned for your purpose you going to take a performance hit. The thing is don't look at the monthly price look at what you capable of doing. Ask for... How many concurrent connections are you allowed? How much RAM does your website get from the server? How much CPU power or Cores do you get for your website? How much bandwidth and speed do you get for your website? How much storage, file count and file size are you allowed for your website? Can you customize your php.ini file for your PHP? Can you customize the my.cnf file for your MySQL server? Can you access your server by terminal (Linux) or PuTTy (Windows) Let say I've seen few hosting companies like iPage Shared Hosting that is very limited and you can't do anything server wise. Another bad company is Network Solutions again no access to the server at all. GoDaddy.Com at least has the full access to the server from the terminal (or PuTTy). Why does this matter? It because the TTFB (Time to first byte) is important. You should see about 200-400ms TTFB value. This means the server is setup properly and not lagging for memory or server configuration issues. The worse this value get slower Google and other search engine walk your site and update the search engines. If you have a slow server then you business will be slow to start and be seen. You'll constantly be out ranked SEO wise for faster sites. Here is another site I just changed from Shared Hosting to VPS. You can see the ramp up of Google bots as the server became quicker and capable of server more connections.
  22. That's a start. If still giving you problems. I'd have them re-popped tested and check for flow rates again. I hate to admit it I had one set of DAP injectors that fell off set pop and needed to be redone. It happens. I want to take my current set this summer and repop to 315 bar and run them. First I need the steering fixed.
  23. I think Al Gore screwed up big time with his "Global Warming" crap. I guess we need to spend some of those carbon credits up there so we can provide you some greenhouse gases to warm you up and thaw you out. Springs started last month.
  24. Funny how heating and cooling will draw moisture into the weirds little places to do damage. Good Tip!
  25. It's been too long since I've done 12V's to remember if they had o-rings...
