  1. When you manually call the PID's from the OBDII port the ECM and PCM report exactly what information is available. Remember this is only for smog reasons. Also remember the classification of our truck is "NON-OBD Compliant" (05 Hex) So the rest of the data does not have to exist for public use.
  2. Like I'm learning quite a bit about timing and it effects to performance and MPG's. My last update to the Quadzilla they changed the timing software around and the way its handled. I ended up being more advanced in timing. When you crank up the timing more the torque curve moves up in RPM's. So if your advancing to far the low end tends to suffer for launching. Like i'm working on tweaking the Quadzilla now to give so retarding back at low RPM's which now I did tonight and improve the launching and low RPM range.
  3. Here is my ScanGauge II video of the MAP sensor. This will show you the same thing. The OBDII port isn't exactly usable.
  4. Yes. Edge EZ can modify fuel and timing both on the CANBus level only. This is the limit of the 60-65 HP of the CANBus. To fuel more you need to tap the pump wire.
  5. Also there is no such thing as rich / lean conditions. VP44 is capable of shutting down fuel completely during deceleration or coasting. There is fine line with timing that will make or break MPG numbers. Like right now I'm working on my tune because I'm advancing too much and killing my MPG number.
  6. Injectors are wore out. As you add more load the VP44 increases pressure slightly to the injectors and the pop off spray is better. Where with everything off the injector start to miss because the nozzle is more pissy and not popping correctly. I would highly suggest you pull the injectors and have them pop tested.
  7. If you are running a Quadzilla tuner you can build your fuel map rather weak on the lower boost levels or cut fuel in the lower boost levels giving you better chance at traction. Then you can apply all the throttle you want without the rear breaking loose.
  8. Well I know you didn't build this one in Boise, ID... It's most likely not up to the @dripley standards then.
  9. I thought you bought the Injectors from DAP (Jacob)???
  10. RV275's will be sold typically as is. If you get a custom injector typically you can ask for pop testing and flow matching.
  11. All I can say is do your research on local rebuilders. Pay more attention to warranty and return policies.
  12. At .05 AC volts may or may not create random issues. Kind of breaking point depending on the vehicle. Beyond 0.05 it tend to get more absolute and more of a problem.
  13. No longer producing new ECM units any longer. All ECMs from this point on are all remanufactured.
  14. Sounds like your rather aggressive when you are offroading. I'm travel a lot of forestry roads and haul lots of firewood in the summer time. Typically I'm rather mello when I travel back roads being failures might leave you walking a very long ways to get help.
  15. That's a passing grade for sure.
  16. Just about made a full week of dialysis here in Boise. I'm working on getting it transferred to Ontario, OR to hopefully save on the travel time for both of us. Really tough to get the noon position in these clinics. Other than that MoparMom is doing good and healthy. Just gotta have patience and say a few prayers and hope they get answered. Still working to find out if PD is still an option yet.
  17. The other one you could try is Vulcan Performance. Eric been really good about taking care of my needs for injectors too.
  18. I've kind of noticed a funky rough idle this morning on a cold start. Once it warmed up it disappeared. Double check my program setting and nothing stands out. Might be just fluke? We'll see and keep track of things.
  19. I've not heard of any belts breaking as of yet for the fuel Boss pump setup.
  20. Sound very plausible... I can do similar with my manual attempting to keep traction on ice or slick roads.
  21. Disconnecting the batteries does NOT reset codes nor does it fix any problems. All error codes are held for 40 warm up cycles then erased if there is no future codes in the 40 warm up cycles.
  22. Most steering boxes can be readjusted. If you got leaks to I would opt for rebuild kit. This way get all the debris out of the box, then adjust it up on assembly. Then it be all new.
  23. I plan on 500k miles out off my truck. I'm nearly 280k now.
  24. Coolant spiking out is a sign of ecm failure.
