  1. Still dumping snow down here in Boise. Just gotta get out of here in the morning. Still dumping snow down here in Boise. Just gotta get out of here in the morning. Getting deep down here in Boise. The little 1996 Dodge is still doing rather well. Time to go home this is nuts.
  2. It's all about a controlled explosion. Moves faster than you think just think about now modern engines with smog devices. Like injecting a shot of exhaust gases in the intake, etc. Makes now wonder a bit more....
  3. All I can say is it's a metric lug nut. So I would get few used one's from a tire shop. Several different designs but all work. Do a search on Google for injector puller with lug nut.
  4. You can have 4 batteries producing massive power. But if your cables, terminals, starter are all junk it won't matter how much power your batteries have if you can't deliver to the starter without huge losses. Most trucks I've seen the cables are junk and the starters are marginal at best. This is why person like myself with bit over 800 CCA batteries can start easy in minus weather. Very minmal losses from the battery to the starter and grid heater.
  5. Really slow to travel here in Boise. Roads are mostly unplowed and its stil snowing. I'm stuck at the hospital because if I leave I'll lose my parking spot. I'll wait till late afternoon to go eat. Sucks down here....
  6. As of 10am tomorrow MoparMom will be discharged to go home. Bad part is I've got to drive to Boise every Tues, Thurs, and Sat for dialysis. Then drive home the same day. It going to get crazy. I better get my clutch in and then make sure my Quadzilla tune is up to the job. I'm going to need it.
  7. Windows 7 Virtual machine on Ubuntu Linux 16.04 has been working flawless. Every flash @me78569 has ask me to do has worked perfectly every time.
  8. Cell phone spell checker...
  9. Truck was buried under 3 to 4 inches of snow this morning. As I sit here at the restraint getting breakfast. Still coming down.
  10. I've got a hard full of white Dodge trucks. I was talking about the women... I've got a hard full of white Dodge trucks. I was talking about the women...
  11. Need to import to Idaho....
  12. I'm growing teeth in the tail end of me...
  13. Boise is forcast for 5 to 7 inches tonight. I've got the little 1996 Dodge 1500 crappy part it got Street tires rather squirrelly to drive down here. I've got chains but not enough for that yet. Ugh....
  14. That oil filter will never come off...
  15. Very good video @Haggar Works off the same idea of the voltage drop test that I've got in the article page.
  16. When you look at semi-truck running 15w-40 petroleum engine oil year round up here in minus weather. That why I can't buy into the synthetic oil or having to back down to lighter weight oils idea needed for winter time for our little trucks. Then like here you might have 5-7 days of minus weather and then next week it could be near +30*F. I can't see the need to panic and change oil every time the weather drops cold. Like tonight its +22*F here at the house +15*F in New Meadows. Then there is logging company up here in New Meadows that leaves their truck all sitting outside unplugged and no they don't change oil every time the weather changes to super cold.
  17. Exactly. All the big over the road trucks around here including logging trucks run 15w-40 year round.
  18. She is still in Boise, ID being taken care of by all kinds of different agencies. Hopefully be coming home by Jan 5 2017.
  19. Actually I know of a older 1970's Dodge car with a 4BT Cummins in it. Ther was a page about the guy's install and how awesome it turned out.
  20. @MoparMom ask me to bring one of my shirt down for her to show off the web site and what I do. I'm quite the conversation there at the hospital. No... She wouldn't do that... She would just cut you off from the milkshakes.
  21. @dripley JAG1 will have to come back down and see if Diesel eats his leg or lets him in.
  22. I don't have any units here in the house but the molex plug is the one you got to fit through. I'm sure @Me78569 could spit that information out quickly. It's already a flexible conduit now.
  23. Just like Nick said just go over to the 2nd Gen area and create a article with all the information you provided here which you can more or less copy right over to the article page. Just makes it much easier for other to spot the alternator article. Not to mention I'll be more prone to using the link from the article data on other sites as needed.
  24. He's more or less a all bark and no bite dog. The only time that will change if anyone attempts to enter the truck that he doesn't know. Then any time that anyone attempts to do harm to a family member. Like @Taz started to play fight with me and Diesel took his stance and nipping and barking at both of us. Make matter even crazier. I've just got a head cold starting last night. (Just frigging great! ) So I'm working on pounding the vitamins, standing inside as much as possible and creating a soup pot so I keep the hot liquids going and see if I can kick this cold.
  25. Absolutely. Diesel would hop up on the bed curl up next to MoparMom and not move. If any one moved near the door that dog was up off the bed and guarding that door closely. Scared the cleaning lady I hear when she open the door and was met by Diesel standing there.
