  1. I'm not use to the way Quadzilla creates power. I was so used to the Edge Comp where I could run 5x3 and not have a problem typically could hold traction as long as I didn't mat the skinny pedal. Now with the Quadzilla it not even 50% throttle the truck arcs up and the rear tires just spin loose. The first time I thought fluke. Second time I was like really? Third time is like enough of that. Thing is level 3 launches really weak. Level 4 is pretty darn good bit laggy though from what I used to. Level 6 better hang on it going some where. I knoww what I got to switch I do it right now...
  2. That sound really easy... After so many years of riving with thee Edge Comp and how it powers up. Then flip over to Quadzilla and still been learning to control the power and how it reacts with the throttle. This was my first trailer pull on the Quadzilla very different is all I can say right now.
  3. That's good to hear. I just found out running the Quadzilla Adrenaline on level 6 towing the trailer I was very capable from light to light to spin the rear tires out from under the truck. Not just a fluke thing... It happened more than once. Then I had to turn down to Level 4 to stop that from happening.
  4. Talk about so 70's wow....
  5. We discussed this last year but never had the product in time. So it might be a great idea for BoD to discuss and see if we can raise the funds to do such. (Time to head to the BoD forum...)
  6. She gets to keep the money too...
  7. Like I've got mine set to as low shut off point of 300*F. Once I get my ISSPro Pyrometer dealt with that failed I will drill and tap a second hole in the 4-6 position of the manifold and just stack it up. I considered doing the 1-3 position to study the differences but don't think it worth it to have to drill and tap a 3rd hole and plug the 1-3 hole.
  8. At idle time they are going to be close to the same. It only hotter on the back when loaded and climbing hard up a grade. Also if you running the high idle kit you'll want to monitor your 4-6 cylinders on your gauge. 1-3 is dead and cold on 3 CYL mode. Again if your not packing the device to monitor consider the actually gauge for your hot point.
  9. Reverse that and put the Quad in the 1-3 and the Autometer in the 4-6. That way if you don't have your tablet you still see the hot cylinders. Yes. I don't always turn on the phone for watch so all the setting remian and work without the phone running. Turbo timer, defuel setting, etc all work fine without your device on or in the vehicle.
  10. I'm sure even @Me78569 could help you out with information on the Quadzilla too.
  11. Hey now... I'm growing my own wisdom hairs too.
  12. That picture is coming to place like this very soon once again. Morning temperatures are starting to fall and get closer to 30's as time goes on. Won't be long and I'll be shooting photos like that again.
  13. Wheels look good with chrome I say that you should go to wrecking year and hunt for a set of center caps. You might get lucky.

  15. @leathermaneod Be fore warned you'll have to lean on @Me78569 to build your tunes till the mobile phone apps get sorted out. There is a issue with getting the data from the mobile device to the Quadzilla.
  16. Exactly why I went to an undersized tire was to reduce the stress on the transmission. Still in all end up breaking the main shaft later. Larger tires do place a huge amount of stress on driveline and transmissions.
  17. I was crazy smart... 96 Dodge gassed and 02 Cummins. Some days wish I bought an 96 Cummins.
  18. Nice to to have old faces turn back up here.
  19. No such thing on the Linux and Android side...
  20. I'll most likely jump on that so I can rebuild this HX35/40 turbo and get it on the truck.
  21. Any good sources for a HX35/40 rebuild kits out there? I need a bearing kit for the current turbo I've got in the shop. Anyone know of good bearing kits for a fair price speak up and drop a link please.
  22. Hey Gang... Lets get the chat room fired up again for the winter. It's kind of neat to BS with other folks once in awhile. Just need one person to start the room and it seems that every one stops in to say hi from that point. Chat room link is in my signature...
  23. I'm curious of that fact too. I'm curious of that fact too.
  24. I'm gotta agree on the Quadzilla Adrenaline it sure is a game changer from the Edge Comp to the Quadzilla. Me78569 has nearly tuned all the smoke out but it still pulls hard and strong. I'll get a shot at towing soon and see what happens too. I'm gotta agree on the Quadzilla Adrenaline it sure is a game changer from the Edge Comp to the Quadzilla.
