  1. Some info that I've learned to summarize. Output speed sensor can produce the same issues but the alternator test will result in the same hunting problem. Bad part is the codes for the speed sensor might not trip.
  2. If your doing voltage test off batteries you want to just disconnect the battery grounds. This way the batteries are isolated.
  3. Your APPS sensor isn't getting low enough voltage to trigger idle validation switch so the turbo timer can run. If the APPS sensor is in the throttling position the it shuts down instantly.
  4. One thing you want to do is weigh you wheel and tire. Like right now I'm at 62 pounds for one wheel and tire assembly. Ever 1 pound of rotational mass you remove is like taking 8 pounds off the frame. So going from the factory wheels to 16x7 and dropping from 265s to 235s drop about 25 pounds from one wheel assembly. Basically dropped 100 pounds for rotational mass also like dropping 800 pounds off the frame.
  5. She made through her surgery last night. Doing good this morning.
  6. This being said I need to work on the tuning of the quadzilla adrenaline.
  7. I've got to thank all the people that have come forward to help me get through this. Sherri Andrews (Mopars Mistress), Tyler and Tryssta Jones and Keith Davis (4 Elements Waterproofing), Jim and Sharon Gould (Neighbor), Betty Holderness (my other mom), and other members here that sent PMs to me with idea and suggestions. Thank you all for the prayers and support.
  8. In a nutshell MoparMom has kidney stones blocking her UT and she is going in for surgery to get a stent put in. I went up at noon to see her and see is able to nod or shake her head to questions. She is still on a ventilator as of yet. She is doing well. They will take her off the ventilator after the surgery.
  9. Sorry but no... She will be in ICU for awhile yet till the infection and kidney issues are resolved.
  10. Grabbed my fuel log book and this tank again was all trailer towing some of it was bit hard and heavy (understandable). I turned out 11.21 MPG and my OBDLink showing 11.00 MPG so my calibration is nearly prefect yet. I'm using volumetric effiency of 77.5% which is 14.5% offset from factory 63%. So OBDLink is good enough for data logging for MPG Data.
  11. I'm back over at the RV getting breakfast and quick nap. Still kind of short on energy after all the running. MoparMom is doing good for now. I've got a friend that will meet me at the RV later this morning.
  12. She is doing better this morning. I'm with her right now.
  13. Thank you all. So far she is stable but sedated for the night. As far as I know it's a bad UTI problem. She got a good dose of antibiotics. I'll find more in the morning when I hike over. Too tired to stumble over now. I've stayed in contact with the doctors. She is stable still.
  14. Thank you AH64ID I've managed to get to Weiser, Idaho got meal and attempting to get a little rack time. To tired to drive. As for MoparMom they do know it's an infection that is the cause for sure.
  15. I'm at home with the RV hitched up I just gotta drive the 180 miles to Boise to get to Mom at the Hospital. I've been working with the neighbors attempting to get key in the right hands. Make matter worse the guest house lost a water valve which cracked open and was spraying water like a mist all night. The carpet is soaked in the bedroom part of the house. Got my laundry done so I got clothes now and trying to get the RV packed up. Food, water, tanks dumped, etc.
  16. I'm emotional train wreck right now attempting to just handle get a plan of action to get the RV down to Boise right now. Still need to lay down get more than 2 hours sleep. Thank you all for the prayers and well wishes...
  17. She has been sent to Boise Hospital last night and she is in ICU right now. Stable, but in bad shape. I'm operating on limited amount of sleep and trying to get a action plan put together. Plenty of phone calls to make and lots to take care of.
  18. I just brought @moparmom to the hospital Unknown issues and being flown to boise tonight. Please everyone prayer for her recovery.
  19. I've been looking for good quality diodes like what Nations Alternators sells. Hoping to find high quality replacements.
  20. Might be some truth in that above post but even straight diesel fuel can do the very same then because of the increased air flow of the 24V head design. Really easy to gunk up the injectors putting around town without fully warming up the engine.
  21. Like I told @hex0rz to get an independent shop to test the injectors just to verify the that they are damaged in some way. This will just either double prove what DAP has to say or protECT him.
  22. Last tank hand calced is 11.5 MPG. OBDLink is close to that number as well at the time of fill. Mostly towing the RV around on that tank. 243 miles / 21.119 gallons = 11.50 MPG.
  23. @TFaoro the only thing I could suggest is pop test the injectors.
  24. ...but remember his morning hard start issue. Now that's a nozzle issue. Also now he's got my injectors there is no growing oil nor hard starts.
  25. The only thing you need to do is open up the driver side door and pull the IOD fuse out of the socket. That's it. This disconnects the battery from the truck. Don't need to jack up the axles. Tire will hold up to a full winter of sitting. Be just a bit rough on initial startup but after few miles of warming up the rubber they come right back. Think about it my RV stands on the tire months without moving and has zero impact of the life of tires. I just hitch up a roll. I weighs in at close to 8,000 pound just standing on the tires. Again no impact of long term standing. Don't need to add anything to the fuel. Diesel fuel doesn't degrade like gasoline. Like right now all Idaho fuels are already being started on winterized fuels. So no need for anti-gel being it already in the fuel. Also you don't plan on driving till next spring so you don't need the anti-gel anyways. The only thing I would do is change all the fluids in the spring of the year. If the vehicle is parked outside the condensation will occur in all the differentials, transfer case, etc. Where normal daily driving will warm the fluids up to vent the moisture off normally. Like my truck a couple of winters I've parked my truck because of high diesel prices and gasoline was way cheaper.
