  1. WalMart Super tech or NAPA Green here. I've been using universal yellow coolants no issues as of yet.
  2. Made it home I'm just barely off the 1/2 mark and got 362 miles in this trip. Basically did speed limit the whole trip. When I got to the interstate I ran it at 80 MPH. I was totally shocked after 90 miles of interstate travel at 80 MPH I continue home at 65 MPH up US95 and still get home with 21.7 MPG. I'm stoked.
  3. So am I. This is awesome. 243 miles now heading home.
  4. What ever was updated don't change it. Wow. Running the interstate at 80 MPH barely turning 700 EGTs. Then on the highway at 65 MPH it now like 550 EGTs. I'm a bit over 200 miles in the trip Just use quarter tank and seeing 21 MPG. I'm thrilled...
  5. Need to deal with the PCM side now and get rid of the auto tune in the PCM.
  6. Funny... I stopped in a tire shop in Boise, Idaho to have my tires rotated and rebalanced. The tire shop did a full front end inspection. Wheel bearings, ball joints, tie rod ends, and trackbar. The shop tech was very surprised that the front end was still tight and absolutely no issues that they could find at 273k miles and rolling. Steering box wise still tight and doing very well. So... When you do get the new box make sure to completely flush the system before removing the old steering box. Last thing you want is debris from the system contaminating the new box and start the ball rolling for constant issues on steering and hydraulic issues.
  7. Crank sensor -> ECM -> CCD Network -> Cluster Or it could be sent to the PCM for transmission purpose for the automatics. The CCD network just broadcast the information and the listen device will pick up the information or not depending on the need for the information. So like another example speed signal comes from the ABS module and sent over the CCD Network but the ECM uses the speed signal for cancelling the grid heaters. Then the PCM uses it for cruise control. This is the beauty of the CCD network all the information is on a common network and the devices can selectively use any data it wants.
  8. Maybe consider the idea of going VGT turbo like @Me78569 and his stand alone controller.
  9. One forgotten an issue that is rather annoying... The menu icon (little gear) it's absolutely tiny on my LG G4 phone and nearly impossible to tap. The 3 dot menu is not available at all. Very frustrating to use big gorilla fingers and attempt to tap that tiny icon. As you can see the icon is rather faint in color and difficult to even see. As seen here the gauges are spanned in weird increments that you can't visually look at it and visually read the analog. Makes it rather unsafe because your eyes linger on the analog gauges way too long to read them. The gauge tick marks should be 1x, 10, or 100x. Then the numbers should be whole 1, 10, or 100 up the scale. Like EGT's I really don't see a need to run a gauge all the way to 2050*F. A nice 1,600*F is more than enough.
  10. (Reeling up my chain) Thanks, I'm sure you'll pass the info down to Spencer.
  11. Geez... I'm considering the end user here and making it the most user friendly experience as possible.
  12. Now that Nick sent me a updated flash for my setup.... Huge change in the performance using my current tune. The MPG number is improved a bunch too. Been raining here and just wet pavement it can get stupid really quick with the Quadzilla turned up on MAX now. Still for the most part smoke free just a very light haze using my empty truck tune. The OBDLink is swinging much higher on the instant MPG numbers now floating 25-35 MPG. Just filled up and the RV is now put away for the season and no longer be towing it around. Now I can focus on empty truck numbers. I'll be making trips back and forth to see @MoparMom so I'll be able to tweak it in and max out the MPG numbers now. Even towing the RV has been rather OK MPG wise. 11-12 MPG not exactly great but closer to normal now. I'll play with the trailer more in the spring of the year hopefully be more improvements to the tunes and software. Few things I would like to request for the Quadzilla if possible. When firing up the iQuad App that it returns to your set screen instead of defaulting to the first screen. Being able to export and import tunes as files on the phone or tablet. So you can backup your tunes or share with other Quadzilla owners or for tech support with Quadzilla for debugging. Audible alarms for high limits of your gauge (EGT and/or boost). Customize the scale of gauges. Like the EGT gauge analog is rather difficult to read because of the odd span of tick marks as well as the other gauges. Configurable red zone for like EGT, boost etc. So it displayed on the gauge. For Newbies it would be handy for a help ? be displayed for different setting explaining what they do so you not hunting for articles or documents to remember what each setting does.
  13. Not to mention most normal daily drivers only see 5-10 PSI boost pressures just cruising. Maybe towing a trailer you'll see higher flow rates but typically short periods of time like 3-7 miles like here in Idaho. Racing wise where you WOT for a quarter mile and needing every single bit of HP yes there is a very small gain. Daily driver there isn't going to be much. Like my average boost pressure is like 2-5 PSI at 65 MPH on flat ground so a intake horn is not going to change much. Even with my stock manifold and 3" exhaust there is little to gain in upgrading to 4" or performance exhaust manifold with my boost pressures or drive pressures empty truck running.
  14. I'll give you 2 hours to install them.
  15. Thankfully I've got a wonderful shop just north of me that does free injector pop testing.
  16. What is the voltage at rest? Have you unplugged all the other modules and checked and see if the problem goes away? I've seen some of the problems stem from a bad module (ABS, AirBag, Stereo, overhead, etc). I've also seen problems come from bad ECM or PCM too. So if you disconnect everything but the ECM and PCM and it still exist then drop the ECM and check voltage again. Basically start from rock bottom and work your way back up till you find the module screwing up the network.
  17. Just a couple days away from turning 46. Found out while on the job my partner Keith Davis birthday is October 24th while mine is on the 26th. The owners of 4 Elements Waterproofing is going to hold a birthday party for both of us tonight. I'll have to shot a few pictures and post up the fun tonight.
  18. I typically remove all modules (ABS, Air bag, central timer, etc.) then any tuner remove them as well. You should have only the PCM and ECM hooked up and check again.
  19. Top of the screen click your user name then select settings. Next screen select signature. Fill it out with your truck year and info you can provide.
  20. More than likely a CCD network issue being the Edge is getting Rach signal from the CANBus lead.
  21. Might check you sail switch also check to see the blower is getting stiff. Like might got a bit slow kept tripping the sail switch to shut down. I fanned a tube on a grease gun online the shaft bearings never had an issue after that.
  22. It will be fine. Remember there is only like 3 or 4 battery manufactures out there. I'm running Walmart batteries with no issues. Like the 96 had a dead battery when I got home from the hospital with Mom. It was close to ten years old. Not going to cry about it. It happens.
  23. Supply is optimal at 1/2 inch. Return you can leave the stock size.
