TIRES
I've never run studs. Rare to see me use 4WD in the winter. Even more rare to see me put chains on.

Then you should be rather happy with Cooper STT's they are nearly the same tread pattern just slight differences to the Toyo M/T's

Be careful with the greasing idea. That why I got to ditch mine now because the graphite in the grease is messing with the ABS sensors. So now I got to replace my wheel bearing in front because of a grease issue. If I take the time and blow the grease out of the tone wheel teeth it last for about 2-3 days and comes right back after the grease get back in the teeth.

Well I can't verify the measurement because my rims crack and the next day were headed to the scrap yard. I was stating I guess incorrect second hand information then. I had 265's from the factory.

That's why my ABS lights are still on. Wheel bearing are fine but the tone rings are screwed. My ABS isn't worth another $400 for wheel bearings. NAPA price is about $236 a bearing.- Ham radio operators
LOL... Really nice when there is no exams in the state of Idaho...- Teardown and Rebuild
Like some suggest is pulling the water pump out to drain the last bit of water out. Like myself I just add the first gallon of coolant straight and then mix the remaining coolant from that point on.- VP44 dead with 80 k miles?
Check for excessive AC noise from the alternator...- TIRES
I had high hopes for the Black Lion's for wear but it didn't come to be. So this go around I told the tire tech I was looking for something a bit better than bargain basement stuff but something with quality and going to last awhile. So I know Hankook has be around awhile and should have good performance. The DynaPro's are suppose to designed around the high torque of diesel trucks so the compound of rubber should be a bit harder.- On to the next problem, a leaking head gasket.
Some one post here a product sold in a gallon jug that will remove the rust and scale in a engine. I know its here but I can't remember the name of the product. It's buried in the blackhole called the MySQL server.- Unidentified noise
Jack up the axle and check the front wheel bearings. Really simple to do and only takes a few minutes.- TIRES
The Coopers STT's do have some noise to them. If you air them up properly they actually do have good traction and performance. Your Meme above does hit the nail for majority of puppies out there buying tires and wheels for their truck today.- On to the next problem, a leaking head gasket.
I would be careful with acids. Again this is what created the gasket problem so if you do flush it with citric acid make sure to flush it all back out.- Ham radio operators
I was going to for search and rescue but the class never happened and fell through. The electronics part I could pass fairly easy I've already done the sample test once long ago. The rest of the test well I need to bone up on...- two stroke oil question
1989 to 2002 you run 128:1 ratio or 1 ounce per gallon of fuel pumped in the tank. 2003 and up you run 200:1 ratio or roughly 1 ounce of oil for every 2 gallons of fuel.- two stroke oil question
TCW3 Two Cycle Weight 3 (Educated guess)- TIRES
Cooper STT I like the traction value for offroad but I didn't like the idea of then being about another 10-15 pounds heavier than normal 265/75 R16. I saw a mild loss in MPG with the Cooper STT's I sold mine back to the same tire shop I bought them from with about 30-40% tread left. Good to hear about the Hankook DynaPro's...- Manual Trans Conversion - Seeking Advice/Tips/Issues/etc
Usually so much better to have both truck sitting side by side also the same year and start swapping parts and pieces. Always end up looking for some small part you over looked or don't have.- Morning Pic For Today...........Post A Pic around your place.....
If I can even make it up to "Freight Landing" there is a real log cabin. Not much left the history is it was a old fir trappers cabin. This cabin gives new meaning to log cabin. Strange but true I worked with a log home company here for a summer. Assembled two homes old styled hand hued. One was in Yellow Pine, Idaho and the other was in Twin Falls, Idaho. Even those log homes are way different than a kit log home.- On to the next problem, a leaking head gasket.
Something is altering the pH rapidly if in a months time the coolant is discolored. Then premix is already mixed with distilled water. The coolant problem will have to solved rapidly to prevent more damage in the future.- On to the next problem, a leaking head gasket.
Coolant pH did help that gasket to fail...- TIRES

When you make it here I'll be more than glad to show you around. Just make sure to do it around June to July. Best time to see this state before then is typically wet and rainy also after July we go into fire season and most of the back country roads get limited or closed off. - Unidentified noise
