  1. Yea then that is mistake #1. It was built with cinder blocks and every other hole was filled and rebar added. Wall is now leaning and cracking.
  2. Sorry CSM. Unless you wait a while and for me to build the new ones and the by a second one you can have a Idaho built high idle kit.
  3. There was a member I made contact with that lived in Idaho and did masonry work. I can't remember the name of the person. I've got a retaining wall that needs to be rebuild. The last gentleman that built it was a great guy but getting up in age and didn't anchor the wall properly so now its leaning.
  4. So be patient people I'll keep you up today of what's going on.
  5. Heck got up this morning to a nice cool 35*F. Then packed up and headed for Ontario, OR by the time I hit New Meadows, ID (City Of) the temperature was a nice cold 17*F. It hovered in the 20's all the way down to Ontario, OR this morning. Get back home and the weather center on my desk shows we had a high of 40*F and low of 35*F. Like I said I live in a fold of the mountains so the weather is much different in the narrow little crack in the ground.
  6. Extremely great idea... wow! I would of never thought of that.
  7. You might have to post those both up on the garage so others can read about your "Frankenstein Toyota"...
  8. Congrads W&F... You dropped a lot of weight. I'm not far behind you I typically bounce up to 210-215 in the winter time. But come summer I drop again to 205 realm. I remember the days of being a bit overweight and heading to 235 pounds. I know what you mean about screaming tight jeans and low energy.
  9. Now watch your pyrometer gauge. Also if you got a exhaust brake throw it on you'll see huge jump in temperature.
  10. I'm a mini version of that. My stove is in the basement as well. But I only got 2 vents for heat to rise up through the floor. With the stove cranked down (3/4 of turn on each vent) I'm still producing 800 to 1,200*F on pyrometer heat. The basement is roughly like 80-90*F it really warm down stairs. But up stairs its a mild 75-78*F. MoparMom loves to hang wet dish towels over the vent in the floor because they are dry in no time.
  11. JD it might help to fill out your signature and your profile so others and get to know you.
  12. Welcome from Idaho. I'd got to say the Dodge Cummins looks good... But your other tuck I've not seen something like that in a long time. Something about being in the back country of Idaho that prevents that...
  13. I was just thinking that thee older Fargo's and Power Wagon's should had small block V8's in them. If I remember right the engine mounts where flat. I'm pretty sure if you look at the 1stt Gen Cummins and it engine mount system it would fit right in that old Fargo.
  14. The timing piston slides in its bore to twist thee cam ring to new timing position either advanced or retard.
  15. I can't seem to find a rebuild kit for it. Doing some quick search on Google. Mostly finding dealers that sell the gear box.
  16. That's odd... My lowers are not greasable but my uppers are graseable. All I can say is ball joints are not fun to do.
  17. The spare change is typically my fall back stash for a beverage or a munchie while out and about. I typically use cash for everything rarely used debt or credit cards. Less paper trail that way.
  18. I remember the old data plate of my 1972 Dodge Power having the Fargo logo on it as well.
  19. Here is the P0500 code... http://articles.mopar1973man.com/2nd-generation-24v-dodge-cummins/59-obdii-error-codes/190-p0500-no-vehicle-speed-sensor-signal
  20. No. The ECT fooler is for holding the 6 cylinder high idle. As long as the coolant temp is below 140*F the high idle 6 cylinder will run forever. Which the 6 cylinder mode is rig for anytime high idle use. The 3 cylinder mode is only a IAT fooler so it can't be held. It allows it to cancel when it comes up to temperature. MPG more is just a IAT fooler for warm temperature.
  21. And the last time you cleaned your truck out was when? McDonald's whats that? We got a Subway and A&W 20 miles away. McDonald's is at least 100 mile drive.
  22. Exactly. Like my own rig I've got no heaters on the filter but never experienced a gel filter. I'm very picky about fuel sources.
  23. Ok. back to the diagnostic. So it seem you missing a resistor. I'm going to notify Ed Grafton to take a peek here.
