  1. Here is the rest of that for you. The Effects of Rotational Inertia on Automotive Acceleration I got to admit this is a awesome thread with plenty of info.
  2. We had a wonderful phone call tonight.
  3. Ed right... http://articles.mopar1973man.com/2nd-generation-24v-dodge-cummins/59-obdii-error-codes/155-p0168-decreased-engine-performance-due-to-high-injection-pump-fuel-temperature
  4. I've done the drill and fish method and it works too.
  5. Bought mine back in 2006 so its nearly 10 years old and I've got nearly 200k miles on it.
  6. I've got a intake manifold gasket set coming to the shop. Mostly likely get it when I get home.
  7. If my AirDog 150 dies I'm going for a full FASS 150. But I'll call Eric at Vulcan Performance then order me a full fitting and hose kit for remote mounting the pump. I will install the FASS in the bed wall. This will allow for guarding the filters, keep the filters out of the direct cold wind and keeping the pump close to the fuel tank.
  8. 235's or 265's work really good with 3.55 gears. As for Craigslist you get what you pay for. I would always opt for a vendor over EBay or Craigslist because if there is any problems with your purchase then at least you get support. With Ebay or Craigslist you on your own and might not be able to use what you purchase.
  9. That's what powers the computers here. (Green powered network here!)
  10. Cross over tubes done today. Sounds different I didn't notice any misfire on the way home.
  11. No. Just the one near the thermostat. The 12V had the temperature sensor towards the rear of thee head.
  12. Here is my youtube of injectors cleaning... While the injectors are out you could pull the cross over tubes and verify they are not plugged up too.
  13. Even my old 1972 Dodge Power Wagon has excellent steering. But I've always been picky about my vehicles. I drove a old 1971 Ford Pickup for a glass company that was so washed out that it was like 90* of steering wheel to change. Talk about swinging the wheel back in forth. It was so bad that I nearly cause a accident on the 405 freeway heading to a job site. I told my boss I would never drive that truck again.
  14. Error codes? Is there any current codes? The check engine light doesn't have to be on to have codes. How old and how many miles on the injection pump? Is it still under warranty? I want to see if the option of replacement is still open if there is damage.
  15. I'll run him over. Then I got a trophy. Heck with the camera I want the really deal. Even if the truck takes a beatin'
  16. I found out that accurately the number is lost after about 35 PSI or so. Changes from sensor to sensor. You might want to compare a stock sensor to a mechanical gauge and just for fun.
  17. Did you assemble it the proper order? Lot of people get too quick to torque the injector down before allowing the crossover tube to be seated properly. It might be weeping pressure inside the return rail where you can't see.
  18. Call Eric directly and ask him.
  19. All I can say is the Smarty I got from Bob Wagner was back in 2006 when I borrowed it. It was great on the low end but got very flat on the upper end with or without my Edge Comp. Then I remember all the dyno runs and people stacking Smarty with other modules and always complaining about Smarty being flat on top. So the only thing I can say is something has changed. I'm not sure what but its change in the software. I really wish that Smarty UDC would happen for the 24V's then I would be all over it. Because then I could build a good base software for the Edge Comp to ride on.
  20. Heck by this coming weekend we should be in the 55-60*F temperatures. I'm gearing up to have the RV ready by this weekend and "hopefully" be able to take off for a weekend.
  21. Diagnostic... http://articles.mopar1973man.com/2nd-generation-24v-dodge-cummins/64-mopar1973man-com-high-idle-kit/53-high-idle-mod-diagnostic
  22. You can't have mine... Talk to Eric at Vulcan Performance! Comes with o-rings!
  23. Toss them on the classified ads. I'm sure they will go quick.
  24. Heck that picture I would lay in my chair watching TV and every time I seen the battery volts dip below 13 I could tell the shadow was being cast on the panels so I would just pick them up and place them back in the sun. Nothing hard or crazy.
  25. Ummm... I haven't been fishing since 2004 don't have time for it. Heck this is the first ride on the ATV outside the yard in over a year. I don't have time usually. Make you think more the oil change light on the ATV automatic comes on every 600 miles. It's been over 2 years since I last seen the light.
