  1. I used arp stuff on threads because I had it, and on the rest of stud I used antiseeze to keep corrosion to a minimum. Not sure if it will help, but some of the studs I pulled out had some surface rust on them.
  2. let's keep it in secret so others can still comment and we can learn from their mistakes with that said let the trolls be, they tend to weed themselves out. Boy.... now I go look for my couch, oop there it is
  3. I think it was just an excuse to get his hybrid
  4. At what speed do we get Limited at, I guess I never went fast enough to find out. I do remember a day when I had my RX7 almost did 200 mph I think it would have kept going but I got a bit scared to be honest.
  5. @Me78569 wants his truck back now Ok ok I apologize
  6. In and out play is thrust bearing wear, and side to side is bushing/bearing wear. Both with excessive play will make turbine hit housing and chew up seals. But my brand new/rebuild turbo had side to side play as much as the one I took off the truck, which leads me to believe the one I took off is still in great shape. Nether one has in and out play. You're welcome, that's what we're all here for.
  7. I've made my own draw straw for a 97 I had, just went to local custom hose place and got some jic fittings and a piece of aluminum 1/2" tube, fleared it to mate with jic/ bulkhead
  8. On a bright side you'll get the right thing and be done with it.
  9. You aged well Tyler, looks like you know what you're doing too...
  10. Your basket is different than mine I can not comment, but man you got some crap in there, changing filters would be a good idea after fass will polish your tank.
  11. I believe a little side to side is ok, in and out is a no no.
  12. So another dumb question. If a current tune that's loading didn't load all the way ( even if it's the same tune) do you have to keep reloading it till it loads fully or will Quadzilla use previous tune from before, in other words is it safe to keep driving the truck with a tune that's not fully loaded, or once it's started to load a new tune it's overriding the old one. Just keeping you occupied Nick while you're waiting for your new toy.
  13. Wow you already put20k on them, do not know that. Even then I still don't believe in changing filters until I start seeing PSI drop
  14. Why didn't you just get them with pump, or just in case. @notlimah what filters are you planning on using Fass or something else. Here is a Fass site with filter cross reference, https://www.fassride.com/portfolio-item/replacement-filters/ I just got this one from Dap. Donaldson P551313 (3M) , Fass says it's okay to use, but it only flows haunted GPH, I'm not entirely sure how many GPH Fass filters flow. Someone has to make it for them, and I heard rumors that it is Donaldson that does.
  15. @mossyoak71 yes you can unhook the lead from the alternator and drive on battery's to see if it helps. Next thing Id be making sure injectors are working properly.
  16. Just put a draw straw in if you already have it, make sure you cut bottom like @Mopar1973Man and have it an 1/8 or so of bottom if tank is full. It will flex a little too. You can always put a cap on it if it doesn't work later and do something else.
  17. Where did you get your cover from, I see they are 69 bucks. Dap wants about 5 bucks for shipping and thoroughbred is free shipping, any discount codes at dap that you know off. Mine is tapped on the wire with solder but I believe it's a stainless wire not sure how it's been working this whole time, might as well make it right.
  18. Yep I don't know how we ever did it without it
  19. Just how expensive is it to register a truck in Naziphonia, I pay 50 bucks here in Iowa. 200 off is always a good deal but if that's just a discount how much is a real thing, is this what's to come all over US in near future.
  20. If it was fine before, chances are a bad sensor or something in the wires.
  21. @Bobalos are those parachutes on the bottom of the bumper, how fast is that thing, does that thing have a hemi.
  22. I got a filling when shi. hits the fan at least we'll be able to survive long enough to see it happen
  23. Looks straight forward I have to admit a little bit more complicated than t5, nothing case of beer and a used tranny from low miles truck won't fix.
  24. If i remember correctly you're running it with at least 1 quart over filled?
  25. Are you sure you're not sucking air
