Teardown and Rebuild
@TFaoro wow you have the shitiest luck man, how does a line blow like that. I heard on common rail it's a problem #4 I think, but I guess you have custom lines to go to p71

Oil change interval question
I know someone that didn't change oil for at least 3 years, it was on a gasser and he only put maybe 5-6k on oil in that time. If this makes anyone feel better. And know another guy that I personally changed oil on his car that just sits. He may put few hundred miles a year on it and it's been probably close to 10 years now and it still has same oil in it. We actually pulled dip stick not long ago and oil is still clear. I did my best telling him to change it again but he just doesn't care. Also a gasser but in this one we did put Mobil synthetic I think 5w30. So it's not like engine is just going to melt away if you don't change it on time. I think once a year is good as long as you use common sense on what vehicle does that year. But if you don't care about few extra bucks then change it more often. I know a few guys that change oil once a year with no ill affects.

Spare parts in adrenaline box?
It probably still using canbus fuel which is about 70% of fueling and wire tap adds another 30 or so. On level 0 i can maybe get to 3000 canbus and max is 4095 Nick knows best. I hardly use wite tap on my truck usually just have it on level 3. @Me78569 I thought it was anything after level 3 that adds wire tap Unless something changed and I'm not up to speed. 0 stock with boost fool 1 valley mode (power reduction ) 2 canbus to something 3 canbus to something else 4 and up canbus plus wire tap

post brake and wheel bearing job
How did you figure your wheel bearing was bad, did it turn hard or sloppy. Did you change it then,

How Hot are Your Hydroboost Lines?
I think because Mike always staying on top of fluids that's why his still on a lot of original stuff. Part of reason I started to try and stay ahead of game and also listened other peoples advice here and put an inline filter for power steering fluid. And something I never considered changing before like brake fluid till parts are changed and I got to bleed the system anyways, now I'm keeping an eye on things and change when I feel needed.

Oil change interval question
I think once a year is fine if you only put 5k on it. We have generators at work and they see an oil change once a year, and fuel filters also just because. They exercise once a week for about 20min. Over all hours a year they might see 30 to 50 hours depending on power outages. I change my oil once a year also if I put less then 7k on it. I was using amsoil but decided to switch to cenpeco (locally made paraffin based) if I put more miles a year I'd probably stick with amsoil.

11 months sitting, anything I should do?
There is this stuff someone gave me a while back and I never used it. I was always told if storing a motor, before shutdown reve it up a bit so oil splashes everywhere and turn key off right of way after, assuming egts are not high. As long as it's not bio you had for a year you probably be fine.

Quadzilla Adrenaline V2 Testing
Would an app for phone work like a car performance one, if so I have tried it in the past and it was within a mile. Or does it take a real GPS unit

VP44 PSG5 limitations read/write
Piece of floormat to protect filters might work, as for motor burning out I did asked fass if they used same tiny seal to keep fuel from going it motor like AD and he wouldn't tell me.
-
VP44 PSG5 limitations read/write
Part of reasons I'm using fass now is air dog didn't give me time of the day to answer simple questions I had when my ad went to crap, just kept saying we can send you another pump out and overnight it if you want. Complete joke, fass has my money now. But I don't have too many miles on fass so I can't say one way or another. It is definitely much bigger, and I did have a pressure problem with it when first installed so I called fass and they sent me a new spring and ball, modified spring a little and put new ball in been good for few years now, still on original filters too maybe close to 20k on them now, not going to change them ether till pressure flactuation or they rot out. @Mopar1973Man is it strictly because of acid corroding terminals or there is other reasons, I think some hook things to alternator too. I got all my crap on batteries but keep them clean so no worries there, I think this been talked about before.

iQuad freezing with custom tunes
At least we're on to something, may help a few people out there. Before I was afraid of touching it, now I feel much better. Maybe post it some place on front page somewhere so more will see it.

Lets see who you are!

Quadzilla Adrenaline V2 Testing
I finally used the mph option and found out that at 70 I'm going 75. PO told me he flashed PCM to correct for tire size apperantly not. So my hand calculated mpg are also off so instead of 18.5 that I got last time it's probably more like 19mpg.

VP44 PSG5 limitations read/write
Man I thought I spent too much money on my truck. How is you lift pump wired up, voltage drop maybe causing psi drop? And what is your return line from lift pump, is 1/2" all the way to tank till it hits fuel, no restrictions?
-
E15
Not sure where you're going but I know few guys that run e85 in race cars but they burn it twice as fast but motors run cooler. And every time my mom filled her car with it her mpg went to crapper and I drove it just to see if there is more power I thought it was more doggier, but not 100% sure since it's not my car and I don't usually drive it.

How Hot are Your Hydroboost Lines?
Mine are pretty hot too

Is it a vp44 issue or an injector issue?
^^^^ and I would see if you can trade it in for a regular quad instead of 4k just the ability of tuning canbus with v2 is worth its waight in gold, plus all the other options. Tuning is not bad after messing with it for a while, plus we can all help with that. I know how it works but the trick is what's best, so there is a ton of time spent on trying different tuning, canbus is pretty straight forward. Timing is not bad to figure out ether, how timing apply is bit more tricky but not bad.

How Hot are Your Hydroboost Lines?
Can't be much harder then hydroboost
-
Is it a vp44 issue or an injector issue?
Or you can get quad with v2 tuning and solve a lot of problems with what you got, as lon as you're keeping vp.
