@Me78569 and @Quadzilla Power thank you for keeping up with this. On the issue I started to have right after putting newest flash on quad and app on phone, on how it won't display anything, but I can still go to custom tuning and chose a tune and after a shut down and restart of the truck it actually displays the tune I chosen just couldn't see, and I did try 2 phones. The only issue I expirienced before is if you change tunes and try to adjust levels right of way it would freeze, now it seems to freeze at random, so far it did it 3 times. Once with in 5 minutes of driving then maybe 30 min and then again at 10 min. I tryed reflash for box and phone app after first 2 times and it did it again, but today it didn't do it after an hour and 20 min of driving. I checked the #9 fuse inside cab where quad is piggy backed to and other conections looked good. Which brings another question, I assume the red wire with white stripe that goes to fuse 9 switched power is a trigger wire? for box to turn on. And red wire that goes to +battery always has power to box, but there is no fuse. Would it be a good idea to add a fuse and what size or is it not nassesary? Thank you.

So now driving home and app froze up I can exit and load it again push connect to adrenaline and it shows all zeros, never done it to where I couldn't restart it Tried unlink link with different phones, same thing, flying blind Edit, after few attempts to load a tune screen now showing this Edit got to a place where I could shut the truck off and it loaded up till I got home and it froze up again AZ I was pulling in driveway, is this same that you guys expiriengnceing Also when it froze I could still load tunes I belive, because I can hear difference it timing when I was on hwy, it just wouldn't show anything on screen. And so I left it on default tune and when it started to work again that's what it was on, so it must be working in background just doesn't want to display it. And to add to that if you up the level before you change the tune then it will be on that same level once other tune loads, so if I'm driving on mpg tune and my wife pulls up next to me I know what to do now.

So I played a bit with updated flash and light throttle timing, what i noticed is cruse timing is higher now then before, even default tune. before I'd be cruising at 65 and have 18.5 19 for timing now at default it's above 20, not sure why. By the way my default tune and my race tune are about the same on power and spool up, just more smokier lol. Do we know the base maps for default tune, can it be rode down like custom tunes so we can see canbus, timing, etc. My mpg tune is smoke free but it's a dog, driving down a hwy switching from default to mpg feels like i lose few cylinders but if I increase canbus then smoke becomes evident. I can now drive about 63,4 mph and only have 1-2 psi of boost, where as before i would be around 7-8 that is probably caused by bigger turbo. So just looking for some input as usual,

Wow, nice shop I want one like that with a hoist. Sad thing is we could of got a place with a shop like that and a huge house with acreage for cheapper than what we got, with nice overlook on Mississippi but it was too far for everything and would of spent too much money on gas and vehicles in long run, maybe when kids are older and have their own rides.

Man that sucks, I hope changing sensors will do it, if not you probably right about wireing. Guessing vac is in check.

Make sure you fix the problem that caused it to go out, like ac noise.

After I got done with tires, I put new front abs sensors in and regressed my front wheel bearings. Pumped grease in through grease zerk and rotated bearing till it was clean then I used old vacuum and sucked all access grease out. Still have break abs light on, may have to go through several key cycles to get rid of it, if not then who cares it's still tite and greased. One sensor came out in 2 pieces.

I like pine, burch, oak, verity of stuff clear water hills and even mountains, fishing, camping old style not at camp grounds, at least around here. Too crowded, i have more privacy in my back yard, etc. But at the moment stuck in iowa, not a bad place to leave, in fact good for raising family. Just kinda want to get off work and see a nice lake or creek or whatever not endless fields, good thing for smaller rivers that are dirty most of the time, something to do. Not a mall person. ...

Another question, if these trucks came with retarded timing for emissions, and advancing it is better for mpg and performance. Wouldn't retarded timing be worse for emissions, not all fuel is burnt and probably something else I can't think of at this moment.

Boy this thread is alive and kicking, So if the idea is to max out canbus asap without exessive smoke, my question is for mpg tune if I'm starting out at 78 canbus with 3.8 curve it would put me at 90.5 canbus at 4 psi boost. Which with 75hp injectors I'm probably close to factory truck. I'm just trying to figure out how is more canbus better, why not detune the truck when you don't need power. Unless it doesn't work that way.

Like said above, ether use ecm power to power a relay, not sure if 2v is enough though. Or wire one up from 12v key on.

Pipe dope with ptfe, compatable with gas oil etc, you can get it almost anywhere.

I'm confused, do you or not change filters once a year when changing oil. I only change my service filter every time, and bypass I flush out by running engine and holding return line ( like yours oil fill cap ) over a small bucket and run maybe 1.5 2 qts through it, by that time oil is clean. Not planning on changing it till it quits flowing or rusts away.

I don't think so, I think I would of noticed but never know. Heck the phone I'm on now is freezing up, makes it fun to type. I hate electronics.
