  1. Wow, lol it will expend alright when there is no oil left. Is felpro on top and cummins on bottom? I think I see a gap on bottom one, plus it looks wavy. Kinda of topic but I did a timing belt on my car I drive daily and while at it I did all seals and crank seal always leaked, even before I did it, that's why I decided to do it in a first place. So after I put 20k on the new seal and it was getting worse I decided it was time to see what's going on. Ended up being when I pushed the seal over crank, inside lip roled inside out but not all the way it was weird. I then used a piece of PVC same size as crank and put the new seal on it and then slid it over on the crank, to keep it from rolling again. Never had that issue before, crank is even tapered but somehow it would want to roll anyway. Now no leaks, I don't have to add a qt every 1k.

  3. Used things usually worth what someone is willing to pay, best thing is look on line and get in that ballpark.
  4. I think my BMK21 does a good job removing soot, maybe you should try it, it's not that expensive. Just buy few extra filters so you have them. I've been on same filter for a while now and just flush it out when changing oil, not planning on changing it for a while.

  6. If it's up side down then it will be in the wrong place too. Just drill another one that uses back cylinders, at least that's what I think.
  7. Yeap, I don't let anyone toch my truck for these reasons. I was wondering about diapers on the side of the highway before cause I've seen them, now I know.
  8. I put new straps on mine and there was nothing in between, that's how I put it back too. It's pretty snug and adding rubber in between sounds like a good idea but probably will trap salt and rot quicker.

I got the kit from genos, wanted new valve cover gasket just because and planned on putting new valve seals on, but after taking head to machine shop to surface and check for cracks discovered my valve guides were oveled out, so I had them put new guides in and do a valve job. Not sure on arp, I have the other kind that's no longer made I believe, forgot the name.
  10. You'll have more PSI swing if you live Factory Return, I returned mine in half inch all the way to bottom of basket. That is from lift pump, and from VP and injectors still in the same place and size as Factory.
  11. When I first found out about them I thought it was a joke, then to my surprise I found few reviews that swore by it, long story short I ended up with BMK21 from amsoil. Till this day I wonder if I want to rely on TP, I believe it was designed for other purpose. Edited because I remembered a joke. Husband and wife conversation. Wife. Do you think my boobs are small?   12. @dripley lol, can't tell when you're joking, no my truck is still dark green quad cabb. That's a random picture I found on line of someone that has some body skills and more time then me. I could really use a 4 door cab like that hauling kids all over. I'd probably drive the truck daily too instead of a car.

  17. Man I don't know if I'd do it, but then again you don't know till you try. Ideally be better to get a high steer high pinion out of older ford with same ratio and manual hubs. And run away from dodge d60 all together. Put some leafs rings up front too while you're at it. JMO and not sure if it's a good one but I considered doing this myself.

  19. Just did mine with head off, took like 10 minutes, took longer to clean things. There is a bolt behind vp but you'll have just enough room to do it. But I don't have a factory fuel filter housing in the way, just had to move ecm aside. I also dit the fuel return T at back of head. And I think a guy could use a piece of 1/4" hose that's fuel rated and cut it to size, Ruther then paying 10 bucks a piece.

  21. Leveling kit will not support extra waight, I would go with plow springs. That's what I put on my truck with my bumper. Didn't notice any difference other then it sits an inch higher then with original springs.
  22. Good place for head gasket to blow, use a mirror and make sure it's not a HG. When I did mine it was ready to blow in that same place.
