  2. Meh same difference, the mechanical limit of the pump is somewhere aorund 30* any ways. IF it still hang revs drop wiretap more, you have big injectors you dont need to max out stretch
  3. First thing I see is your timing is really low try 1500RPM: 16° 2000RPM: 19° 2500RPM: 25° 3000RPM: 29° 3500RPM: 32° 4000RPM: 32 MAX: 32° Turn stretch down to 5000 and try again TPS max to %100 boost scaling 40

  5. how long does it stay revved up? the 4k boxes do that as the ecm is freaking out and not sending data updates for what TPS is at etc.
  6. I am guessing you are flooding the turbo. DDP injectors should be replaced, then do a boost leak test, then look at tuning.
  7. Question to the more experienced reloaders I got some Hammer hunter 124 gr bullets. I got bored and liked the name so I fell victim to them haha. Anyways I loaded up some rounds with H4350 starting in the middle of the book and working up by .3gr. My thought was my previous loads with the lead core bullets showed I could run ~.5gr above the book without signs of pressure in both the 143gr eldx and the 123 gr eldm bullets. Imagine my surpise when my "low" load with the new bullets put my FPS ~100 faster than the book said they should be with a 2" shorter barrel than the book. got to 43.2gr and I hit primer craters, again hitting ~100 fps faster than the book said I should be. Question I have is why would my previous loads show normal FPS for the book, and then vastly faster than they should be for the Hammer bullets? The bullet and powder charge was the only change. what would account for the higher pressure with the solid copper bullets across the board? Bullets are off the lands by ~.040. curious to hear thoughts, trying to understand the difference and the logic behind it.
  8. DAP for budget friendly, infinite injectors for best of the best. 7 x .010's are a good fit for most. They will still be smokey with the smarty but not nearly as bad. The ddp injectors are uncontrollably smokey for most.

  10. Well thats also a huge reason for the issue. Ddp injectors are very dirty as well. If you want a clean running truck you are going to have to ditch the injectors for some better injectors.

  13. Gotta remember i tested pop pressure back to back running the same tunes. Going from stock pop to 350 bar resulted in being able to throw ~%5 more duration command to the truck before smoke appeared. I was still having to pull %30 duration offidle to keep the smoke from occuring. The run are on youtube. If you want to compare what pop pressure did for smoke output.

  18. Well my 18 is great. It pulls 100x better than my 2nd gen. Its quite reasonable on fuel and comfortable.
  19. My grandpa used to live trap them on the other side of the pond then pull a rope attached to the trap from across the pond into the water to drown them. rarely had one spray. if you shoot them in the spine they also can't spray.
  20. Ez and rv275's should pass emissions without trouble. Gonna be ~300hp which is plenty for towing. Def need a boost elbow
  21. 7 x .0085's are about the limit without tuning to pass smog at altitude. 7 x .010's with v2, is a great setup even if you dont tap the pump. It will run stronger, cleaner and cooler than just running 7 x .0085's without tuning. That would be my recommendation. Leave the quad plugged in they dont check under the hood here in co only lug down test. Given the altitude you really need tuning if you are pulling any passes. Any extra fuel really spikes egts. Clutch is a good idea.
  22. You need to watch live data while it is happening. Guessing either apps or map sensor is causing fits
  23. take the phone out of the truck to someplace where it can't connect to the box under the hood. open the app and then select the vehicle again.
