  1. I’m not sure if it can be done on the 47rh but I know on the 47re for 1st gear lock up the only way to do it is to drag the shifter into 1st on then it’ll lock.
  2. Yea sometimes the snubber and the location of where you plumbed in your gauge won’t keep the water hammer down. Add a needle valve and call it a day.
  3. So what tune is that? I still can’t upload or import tunes either through the app or gmail.
  4. Hopefully this works iQuad-Custom tune test-2018-03-13-06.57.311288023552.json
  5. Yea. Changed it around a couple times just to see if it’d show up. Just make a custom tune, don’t change anything, then save and send?
  6. Installed most recent app for play store and still having the same issues. Import button still doesn’t work and my custom tunes aren’t populating even though when I try and save a file with the same exact name it says it exists.
  7. Yea the isolator (I highly dislike them btw) won’t dampen the pulses and much as you’d think. Still fluid being moved in one way or another so the pressure spikes still exist. Needle valve barely cracked is what majority of us are using with success around here. You could have the snubber and needle valve combined if you were particularly concerned about pressure spikes.
  8. So I tried opening that .apk and it had zipped files. Tried unzipping them all but it failed so I did them one by one but couldn’t find the app. Newest version I found was 1.9.41(59) and I still had the same issue. I have V2 Dodge 1998-2002 version 2.7 selected as my vehicle. Any other suggestions?
  9. Yea I read about that but thought it was fixed? Even still, sounds like the tune is getting saved to the app, just not showing as selectable, so seems like the app is being weird somehow.
  10. So I’m trying to import a tune from the site. I’m on a Samsung phone, I can’t download/import them via the button in the app (beta version btw), and I can’t get them to show in custom tunes even when downloading from my gmail. Weirdest part is if I try and open it through my gmail and then save the tune with the same name, it says it already exists but never shows as an option in app. Any suggestions?
  11. You got more info on the turbo? As long as it’s not much bigger than HY/HX specs it sounds like itd be a good fit for your mods.
  12. Oh nooooooooo!
  13. Phew! For a second I thought you were saying the 2nd gen was going bye bye!
  14. Basically Spokane, WA, slightly more east towards the border for all intensive planning purposes, Spokane lol! I made the 5 hour drive out there from the west side of WA and spent a few days out there with the family.
  15. Thanks Jon! I'm going to copy and save that for a rainy day when this topic comes up again!
  16. Well consider me jealous! That's gonna be a sweet lookin rig! I didn't know they made those with the G56 option still! Lookin forward to pics! How longs the wait?
  17. Yea I read a lot of people were happy with their transgo kits and even some that said they liked it more then their ‘fully built’ trans. To me it seems fairly dependent to who’s doing the work. What’s to say someone who’s installed a transgo did an ok job and whoever did their full rebuild did a terrible job? Or, the person who has only ever had a shift kit, nothing to really compare it to on the fully built end. My opinion was (like yours) how much could I really be getting out of something that cheap going into the trans. To put into perspective, look at what Goerend asks if you’re getting a valve body from them. That’s a lot they wanna know about for something a shift kit is trying to replicate. Obviously a fully modded VB is going to do more so I can see how some may see that comparison as a stretch, but to me that’s what sticks. So to alleviate all that and get rid or any worry, I just had @Dynamic build my trans!
  18. In my research it just seemed that shift kits would leave a lot to be desired. There’s a lot more to it I suppose but probably for a different thread. To each their own though. I didn’t mean to get some heated debate started, was just messin around! Talkin shift kits is like talkin politics!
  19. Since you’ve haven’t added before just wait until your next full tank and then depending on how many gallons your tank is, add that many ounces. Then every fill up after that add 1oz per 1g.
  20. The super tech tcw3 ashless is what you want.
  21. Definitely could be VP or injectors. Seems to lean more towards VP since you’re seeing the symptoms when the trucks warm as well.
