  1. But I wanted to see pics of your setup
  2. You brought this on yourself
  3. Hmm is that what you’re going to go with?
  4. Here's an awesome write up on things to look for when looking to buy a 12v.
  5. Good to see pics! If you ask enough people, eventually someone will
  6. https://turbo-performance-products.myshopify.com/collections/cummins-products/products/cummins-24-valve-turbo-sock Did you have to custom order the header wrap?
  7. If I were you I'd just look at getting a whole new module from Vulcan before I ran a sump. Just food for thought.
  8. So dumb question time... Does the iquad app have to run through that ‘initializing settings’ load bar for everything in the tune to be loaded and working right?
  9. The stock turbo blanket that @jlbayes linked should be the one you’d want.
  10. I’ll be using Donaldson filters as well. Ah, that’d explain why he’s seeing a little higher then me. I might do the same to my spring when I get things apart for this filter change.
  11. If by 'bucking' you mean the converter is locking and unlocking rapidly then yea, could be your ALT and removing it from the equation while driving will prove that or not. If the 'bucking' is more like surging, then I'd say you're still fighting tuning issues in those scenarios you described.
  12. Yea can't complain. I didn't mind it before but at least it's still within the limits. I am going to be changing filters here soon and also routing my fuel lines back through the stock fuel basket to get the extra filtration so we'll see what pressures look like after that, I don't expect much change.
  13. I’d leave it. It’ll settle out over time and filters will clog a bit and bring that number down as well. Only spring I’ve found that’s put an actual psi associated with it is from Vulcan and it’s a 17psi Airdog spring but it’ll work in your FASS. So you could do that if you wanted. I went that route but only because I was having all sorts of issues with the FASS springs. Psi when I first installed was 18.5 idle 17 at WOT. Now I’m 17 idle 15.5 WOT.
  14. Yea, that’s been on the list for a while now!
  15. Would studs be needed if I run were throw some big sticks in but stock exhaust??
  16. Well a sump is more simple then a drawstraw but there’s potential legalities with a sump. Generally leaks are pretty simple. If you’ve narrowed it down to the leak being somewhere in the tank you could drop the tank and remove the fuel module and tighten everything up, or worst case, change out all the fittings. But to answer your question, yes as long as the leak is actually in the fuel module.
  17. Well finally got around to installing the quad and all I can say is WOW! I cant believe how much nicer the truck runs! I haven’t even tweaked anything, just using the stock injector daily tune @Me78569 uploaded and it’s really good. Can definitely tell in the lower throttle scenarios and from 0-40mph. A lot more responsive, and runs smoother overall. I can’t wait to get some 7x.012’s installed and see how it runs then! Anyone who’s on the fence about getting the quad and new V2 software just pull the trigger!
  18. Thanks for this Mike. I just got my quad hooked up finally and even on stock sticks it’s running great.
  19. I don’t have any but have considered it in the past. I remember there being a good company that out then together along with some other blankets but I never pulled the trigger.

  21. Well I’ll be damned!
  22. Yeaaaaa I just don’t have the tools or the extra help I’d need too. I’m a newb
