  1. http://www.custombatterycables.com/ Kind of pricey but come very well made and they already have a kit made for our trucks. Replaced all mine couple years ago and they still look new.
  2. Do you have pics of your post turbo probe setup?
  3. Sorry for the delay @Leaky88, I replied to your PM.
  4. Definitely use a step drill, keeps the plastic from splintering. If you’re only adding the pickup then only one hole is necessary but I added two in mine.
  5. Yea the smarty ‘locks’ itself to the vin even after changing tire size. No tune needs to be loaded though.
  6. Is that changing when your having the issue?
  7. Low or no voltage to the lift pump? Bad lift pump? What’s your fuel pressure?
  8. There are rare occasions when I have the time (read: permission) to grow a mustache, but rare it is indeed!
  9. Looking forward to the write up @IBMobile. I run a momentary foot switch and it does exactly the same as what’s mentioned. I got the idea from someone else on here and it accomplishes the same as IBM’s without the need to be as smart as him! Haha Although his is much more thought out and is probably more ideal, I preferred only soldering one wire though hahah!!
  10. I have to agree with @Wild and Free on this one, the 30in resonator works suprisingly well. Sold my 99 to my cousin which had a 4in straight pipe diamond eye on it and he put a 30in fte resonator on it about halfway in the system and couldn’t believe how good it sounded! If you REALLY wanted to have the quickest and easier way of swapping and trying out mufflers/resonators you could look into using diamond eyes COUPLERS. No welding and should be an easy swap as long as everything’s the same length. Although if your goal is drivethroughs and things like that, my truck is on stock exhaust and it’s still too loud. The engine will only get so quiet lol!
  11. Looks good man. Drove my dads 4th gen when he was visiting. They got some getty up! Plus fancy things like multiplenrear view cameras and such. I think you did it right though. New and old!!
  12. Gotta hate when stuff like that happens. Are you just using one of those sucker window phone holder thingys?
  13. They look good man!! I also like the routing of the charging wire through the broken trim. That's mint fa show!
  14. I typically add right after I fill up, as soon as I get home. So I know exactly how much to add.
  15. Soot will not be an issue, I think that's where the ash less 2stroke comes into play. I've been using 2 stroke in every tank for the last couple years and haven't had issues of extra/added soot. In mike's article it shows how clean his injectors were running 2 stroke compared to not and it's quite a difference. 2 stroke really cleans things up as weird is that is to hear.
  16. @dripley's right on here. If you already have tow mirrors then more then likely they're already installed. One thing I'd check though would be if you're looking to upgrade to the 4th gen mirrors I'm not sure if that bracket is the same so worth asking the question.
  17. Nice, that sounds like a good plan for me. I think I'll go 6x.013 and scale them way back with the quad on my HX until I can drop in a 62/65/12.
  18. Nice, that's good insight into it all though. If 6 and 7 hole injectors were both as dirty then seems that with tuning abilities of the quad, might as well go with the 6 hole. Now I need to wrap my head around what size to get with the idea of having larger injectors then wouldn't typically been matched to our turbo. It never ends lol
  19. Very true, which is why it's also good to know who to listen to and who just likes to type!
  20. You're probably 100% right, this is just my OCD and over thinking getting the best of me! haha
