  1. 120-140ft pounds, then back off 1/3 turn is what the book says. I set it on 130 and then backed it off. Just did the passenger side yesterday and also put some gm dually wheel cylinders on so should be good for a while.
  2. Looks like I got my high idle box a few months to early. Can we send in for an upgrade?
  3. It should mean stock with no extra timing or power. If you gonna stack them you will have to use the edge timing though.

  5. Had a funny idle this morning. I have a 2.2k ohm resistor in my iat sensor but I dont see how it would have anything to do with it. Cranked up and drove to work this morning and all was fine. Got in my truck a couple hours later to go to my next store and truck cranked up and idled fine a few seconds then it idled to about 950 or so then back down to 800. It did this on and off for a minute until I put it in drive. Then got to my next store and it was doing the same thing when I parked, it would idle like this for 3-5 seconds high then 3-5 seconds low. I reset the apps and then came back out in a few hours and the truck was doing the same thing. Next store I reset the apps and it has been fine since. Not throwing any codes either, any idea's?

  10. I have thought about putting newer seats in mine with head rests but my old ones are more comfortable than the new trucks to me. Do you have any pics of your truck? I love the way welding rigs look, especially with the bob bed on them.
  11. The 3000 tune is not and has not been available on the quad site for years. The comp and beta tunes are different. I have the 3000 tune saved in my computer but I usually ran the 2011 tune.
  12. You read right, you dont want to go to far down with the tap. Where did you get Di pricol gauges at? I have been trying to finish my set out and have only been able to come up with a trans temp gauge. I need boost and egt in black face if anyone has them.
  13. I usually use fleetguard but last time I went to the cummins store he had Donaldson for $5.50 each so I got a couple of them.

  15. Well it didnt work for me. My ultra gauge stays between 17.8 and 19.5 mpg this entire tank and it came out to 15.9. The weather has been between 45 adn 70 with mixed city and hwy driving and I just cant break that mark. I sure was hoping this 2.2k resistor helpedc but all it did was make my ultra gauge read off higher than usual.:banghead:

  17. Glad you found the right o-ring. I fixed mine about 3 years ago with silicone and it hasnt leaked yet but when/if it does I may get with you.
  18. I will be travleing this weekend with the 2.2k resistor in and will get back with you on if it gained me any mileage or not.
  19. First tank with the new tires was about 15.4 but I picked up a pack of 2.2k ohm resistors and my intake went to 143.6 and my mileage on the ug also went from 15.? to 19.5. I dont imagine its that high but it would be nice to be between 15 and 19.5.

Well I babied this truck and my UG read 17.5 average mpg and I fill up to see 14.:banghead: Granted, I didnt get the tank to the tip top on the prior fillup but it was pretty close because my needle pegged to full, it may have been 1 maybe 2 gallons off at the most. So now I am just gonna drive it like usual and with the new tires its gonna suck it up even quicker.

  24. Welcome to the forum. I would also add a boost elbow to your turbo if you have a stick shift or a j-hook if you have an automatic. I had an xzt+ on mine and it really didnt give that much more power until I got a boost elbow:thumb1:.
  25. I am working on getting a tripple disk torque convertor and I think/hope that will help alot. I have 150hp injectors, edge comp, fass 150, 4 inch exhaust and slipping convertor. I usually run on 3x5 but lately have been running on 5x5 trying different things. I run 265/70/17 bfg street tread tires and 3.54 gears.
