  1. Im running Mike's settup on my 98 and it has worked flawlessly for over a year. My Di Pricol gauge has never given me a hint of trouble either.
  2. Mine are 750cca and 7 year warranty with 5 year free replacement.
  3. Well I was wrong about that too so im still at a loss.:banghead:
  4. Welcome to the site.
  5. Ya, it starts in neutral and park. I may have figured something out today, if I put the truck in park and let it role into gear (like when you on a hill and dont use the e-brake) it idled up like its supposed to every time.
  6. I got one of Winslow's high idle boxes and the truck is awefull picky of when it will let it work. I tested the box with an ohm meter as per Winslow's instructions and it works correctly so I have ruled that out. Soemtimes the truck will start to idle up and then get to about 1000 rpm and just drop back off to 800 or so. Other times it will not idle up at all, even when its in the teens outside it should idle up on its own. The otherday I put the transmission in neutral it it idle'd up right so I thought it was the park switch but then the next day it idle'd up in park. I drove around the pasture loading up round horse panels and put it in park and hit the high idle switch 3 different times and it worked all three times but then yesterday it wouldnt engage in park or neutral. I can change gears without pushing in the break if the key is on, it worked when I got the truck but I accidently broke something in the column and its been that way ever since.
  7. I got on thhe highway the other day and it got to 265 before hitting the halfway mark but I still only got 16.1 mpg's. If I run around town it hits the half tank mark quicker but my mileage stays about the same. I did put some stock injectors in my truck a few months ago and only got 1 mpg better so im sticking with these.
  8. Happy Birthday:thumb1:
  9. Happy Birthday bud!
  10. I got ac delco 27 series in mine a few weeks ago. I dont know what cca they are but I will check tomorow.
  11. Some great pics but my goodness Mike, im so jealous of you getting to see that country everyday.
  12. The socket was 2 & 9/16 and it was pretty easy after I coaxed the seal out with a hammer and prybar.
  13. Do this 3 times, turn the key on without starting and push the pedal slowly to the floor and let up slowly, then turn the key off.
  14. What do I call the seal so he knows what to look for? Does the nut need replacing and do the little nut locks come with the nut?
  15. My dad works at Oreilly's so he's gonna get me the socket. Is the rest of that in a kit? Do I need to replace the big nut? After I get the big nut off will the hub pull off of the spindle and is it a seal inside the hub or behind the spindle? It is a dana 70.
  16. Wow, thanks for all the help guys. Since I already have the pics I will post them for Mike.
  17. My brakes have been worse than normal lately and with new pads on the front, I knew it had to be the back. My driver side was all sludged with rear end oil so I guess there is a inner seal on the hub leaking.I got my axle out but there is some kind of little lock nut that I need to remove and ive never seen anything like it before. My jeeps never had anything like this full floater and I have never worked on one before so if you have any tips I would greatly appreciate it!
  18. I have always heard that the aluminum rims from the disc break trucks will not fit the older trucks. I have had both the 17 inch aluminum and steel 3rd gen wheels on my 98 and the both fit and look great.
  19. I also get 200 miles on the first half of the tank, I average 16.5 mpg.
  20. The truck in your sig will have a dana 60 front, dana 80 rear and the transfer case is an nv241hd.
  21. I put mine above the rear view mirror on the passenger side. Its out of the way of everything and blockes just a little bit of the mirror. Its in an S shape to get it in there like I want it and its out of the way of sunlight, plus I have a tint brow on my window so you cant see it from the outside. To clear codes, you have to have the engine off and go to turn off check engine light and it will clear codes. PM me your cell number and I can take a pic with my phone how I mounted mine and send to you.
  22. --- Update to the previous post... I have never had any problems seeing any of my gauges but I check my ebrake all the time while im driving anyway.
  23. That is awesome!
