  1. Mike, it doesnt seem to matter how I drive this thing I just cant get any kind of mileage. The best I ever got was 17.9 around Christmas and I dont know how it did it.

  3. Sorry if I missed it but what resistor are you using Mike? I can plug the truck in overnight when it gets cold so it will start good in the morning and it was 65 here today so it should be fine during my daily travels. Also do it throw any codes? This is really amazing because my average is 16mpg.
  4. It hhasnt been that cold here but it has been in the teens and mines been working fine, except one time it went off and I unplugged it and it came back on. Sorry it hasnt worked out for you.

  6. If your coolant isnt warm then I dont see how its working because thats the point of the heater.
  7. Injectors should be the same, apps probably is too but not sure.
  8. When you plug it in, listen closely and it will sound kinda like a coffee maker.
  9. How cold was it? It takes a while to warm up when its cold, I usually plug mine up all night and its about 110 in the morning.
  10. Sounds like you both need a torque convertor lockup switch. I have the high idle but I usually use it when getting diesel or if the trucks already warm. I usually let it idle for a few seconds and then be really easy on it untill about 70 degrees, then the comp comes on and I drive normally. I usually lockup my Torque convertor about 40 mph when its cold to avoid all the extra noise.

  13. My buddies wife has a 2010 and she likes it alot. Somethings wrong with the traction control right now though. It pulles hard in 1st too.

  15. I have been thinking about the BFG KM2 in a 255/80/17 and I believe it come in a 255/85/16 and its a 33x10.

  18. I wore shorts when I got off yesterday. This morning, we went to get breakfast and it dropped probably 15 degrees when we where out. Its 24 here with a wind chill of 0. Me and a buddy were driving today and the truck got sideways on a corner that didnt look icy and someone was killed not more than 2 hours later in the same corner. I hate that it happened but I thank God he was watching out for us.
  19. I pulled mine out and started messing with it and it started working. I hate that it did that because now when I forget about it they wont work again. I wonder if we could take the whole assembly out of the newer 2nd gens with the little knob you turn, instead of the pull knob like we have, and make them work with our trucks?
  20. I pulled out of the garage this morning and the headlights wouldnt come on for me either. How do you clean the headlight switch?
  21. I just changed my oil at 6500 with 150hp injectors, I took a sample but havent sent it off yet. I changed to VPB and a Donaldson P558615 filter. I got the filter for $5 at my local cummins store so I assumed it was a good filter.

  23. The rear in my truck is locked, I dont know if its the oem thats wore out or a locker but it is locked. I dont like driving it on dry or wet pavement because you always feel that push. Granted its nice offroad but I rarely go offroad. When im driving down the road and let off the throttle I always get a little jolt to one side of the raod or the other, cant remember which way, and the opposite when I get back into the throttle. I would like to have 4.10 though.
