Toyota's are good vehicles, I think they are the best gasoline vehicles on the road. Before I got cummins trucks I drove those for years. Good luck:thumbup2:

Best pre 1989 vehicle to own
If you can find a 67 or 68 fastback mustang, that would be my dream car. Next would be a 70 challenger.

Replacing Control Arms?
Those look good, would have been nice if they were right.:banghead: I replaced my bushings a few years back and it wasnt to bad, would have been nice to just replace the whole arms but I didnt want to spend the money. I set the caster positive as much as I could and it drives alot better than before.

Ultra Gauge
I haddent hooked the lockup switch up yet when the code went off though. I figured it was a code from last year when I had the switch in but I removed it because my family would be driving it some. I will get some more time behind the wheel today and see if it comes back.

Ultra Gauge
Got my ultra gauge hooked up in the 98 this morning. Just after it did its initial scanning, a trouble code pops up and I think, hmm what could this be? I havent drivin the truck in a year and before I ever get it on the road I see 0216:cry:. I cleared it cranked the truck up and put about 60 miles on it without a problem so I dont know whats up. I checked several times and it never came back but after about 30 minutes of driving, the ultra gauge goes off again and I think its 0216 again but it was just the 1693, I cleared it and it came back alomst imediatly but still no 0216. I hooked up my tq convertor switch and it worked fine for a few minutes then just unlocked by itself and then it wouldnt shift to 1 so I parked it and unhooked the switch and then all was good. All in all my first day back was good.

Need help with codes and "no bus" HELP PLEASE!!
Look here for the best price on apps that seem to hold up better than oem. Several members on the site use these apps including myself and Mike. http://www.dodgecumminsapps.com/ There arent anymore new vp44's but Jkidd has some good deals on reman vp44 and airdog/raptor or fass fuel pumps. If you put a stock lift pump back on it you might be going through this sooner than later. http://www.dieselautopower.com/product_p/vp44%20combo.htm I would also add a set of gauges to the list not just a low pressure light. You need egt, boost and fuel pressure, you can also add a tranny temp gauge for automatic transmissions. I like my di pricol gauges but they are hard to find right now for some reason so my next choice would be isspro. Sorry all this hit you at one time but it should run like a scaulded dog when you get these parts replaced.

J-Hook
Dont you have to have some sort of a boost fooler in order to use a boost elbow or j hook? I think it wll throw a check engine light or maybe just an overboost code.

P1688 "Thanks Mopar Man!
I really like my di pricol fp gauge but they are hard to find right now so I would look at isspro. I run a mechanical with a needle valve so there is fuel running to the gauge but total with gauge, tubing, pod and napa wh6820 needle valve it was less than $125. I dont think you can go wrong with either airdog or fass but I think I will go with a mechanical settup next time, something like a fuel boss or maybe a diy settup.

New tires!!!

How much horsepower?
If he says dont add more than 50 hp but it can handle 900 ft tq his math is off. If you want 350/750, go with an edge comp or juice with attitude and some 50 hp injectors or just get an adrenaline/pulse.
-
edge comp
I have 150 jammers and the comp and its not real smokey. I need a new convertor but when it doesnt slip it still doesnt smoke bad. Maybe my bad and your bad are different?
-
edge comp
I changed from a xzt+ to my comp and didnt notice and different mileage. What settings/sub settings are you running?

Injector pop pressure and it's affect on mileage ???
Ive got a set of big sticks in right now but thinking about going back down to stock, would having them set to 310 bar help them or should I not mess with them? I also have a set of injectors that the truck came with and im not sure what they are but dont think they are stock, I think im gonna take'm apart and polish them up (thanks ISX) to see if I cant tell what I have.
