Fuel Pressure Gauge connection for 01
I wanna know this too, I dont have a big line kit from the filter to vp but I hooked my gauge to the filter housing like the above pic. It has 17-18 at idle and 15-16 at WOT but I wonder if it drops lower at the pump? Also, does the banjo bolt that you use to hook the line to the filter housing also work on the vp?

Stereo Short Somewhere?
If you do end up needing a new radio, look at www.crutchfield.com . I have ordered from them several times with good experiences and they are very helpfull if you have any questions. I think anything over $120 is free shipping and free installation kit.

What tires can i fit?
Anytime you raise the front up without a trackbar or control arm upgrade your gonna make the front axle closer to the cab and offset to one side or the other (cant remember which way it goes). Death wobble has been blamed largely on leveling kits too. If your using stock wheels then I bet you will be ok without a leveling kit but it may hit at full lock. I know if you use 3rd gen wheels then a 285/75/17 will fit and is just over 34 inches tall but only 11.50 wide.

Stereo Short Somewhere?
You might just run a new power wire from the battery and bypass the oem harness.

Possible Problem with 24v Cummins
Both my trucks keep the oil clean looking for a long time but my buddies old 04.5 would black the oil within a few seconds of changing it too, just the nature of the beast. I never saw a green tint but I never used rotella either.

What tires can i fit?
The problem with a leveling kit is it pulls the axle toward the cab but I believe it will fit 35's although it may rub at full lock. I wouldnt put a body lift on anything personally.

Trailer Tires
My 16 ft flatbed trailer came with bias ply tires. I cant remember what ply they are or even the size but I replaced one and a new wheel and together they were $85. I wasnt sure how they would hold up on the road but I drove it from Phoenix to east Tx non stop with a little toyota corolla on it and they did great.

Ultra Gauge
Well the gauge came in this week and is pretty cool. I havent got the chance to try it on my cummins yet but it works on the japanese honda mini van i have been driving here. It supports 34 gauges on it but I avent had the chance to play with it to much. I believe it was well worth the $39 price tag. I will let you know when and how it works on the cummins.

CI-4 oil availability
Does anyone know where to get 15w40 CI-4 without buying amsoil? I use amsoil in my 03 but I want to stick with conventional in my 98. I would love to find some valvoline premium blue classic and have emailed valvoline with no reply. I know im eventually going to probably have to switch to CJ-4 (or amsoil) but I want to put it off as long as I can.

Milestone
The 98 has 226 and the 03 has 106.

Ultra Gauge
Does the scan gauge have another hook up than the OBD port? I dont understand how any of these things work, I was just passing along info on what is possibly a good product (or possibly a POS). I hope its a good product but if it aint then im only out $40.

Ultra Gauge
The mod of the forum said that if your gauge isnt listed its just because nobody with your year truck hasnt ordered one yet or somethin like that. What do you mean by sending data to the OBDII port Mike? One guy on the cummins forum recieved his already and I believe he said it supported 43 gauges in his common rail. I ordered 1 for me and 1 for my granpa and his should be there monday, If he can figure out how to work it I will let ya'll know what he thinks.

When do you change YOUR oil?
I run amsoil 15w40 in my 03 and its been in there for about 2 1/2 years and probably 8-10k miles and my 98 still has the old valvoline pb ci-4 and its been in there just a little over 2 years and probably 4-5k miles. They have been setting for the most part of the last 2 years I have been here and will be changes as quick as I get home.

Ultra Gauge
Hey guys, someone posted this on the cummins forum and I wanted to let ya'll know about it too if you hadnt already seen it there. I know Mike has the original scangauge and I believe this works the same way but its cheaper. I was close to ordering a scangauge but went ahead and got one of these. They are on sale through Sunday, I havnt got mine yet but will let ya know how it works (if it works on these Jap cars) when I get it. http://www.ultra-gauge.com/ultragauge/index.htm
