Wanted to use some of you fellas experience. My ecm quit powering lift pump so most likely will need to replace it. When I lost fuel pressure, engine began to sputter till fuel pressure returned and got a p0216. AC voltage is ok and code hasn’t returned since cleared. Do you think my VP is ok and code showed up because I lost fuel pressure or is injection pump gone too?

I would check with mechanical gauge pronto

Pump can be easily rebuilt

Maybe use camouflage tape and no one would see it

When my in-tank pump was installed the fuel line ran through a block that replaced factory pump so the fuel lines didn’t need to be modified.

Monitor fuel pressure.

I too have a raptor pump and while not the best answer, it seems to work fine. My reasoning was that l believe gauges are important also and with limited funds that’s what I could afford at the time along with gauges.

If I remember correctly I believe @Haggar rebuilt a brake booster. Had a description and some photos. No idea how to find them.

I didn’t worry about all the theories, I just read about the mods. Between W-T’s article and @IBMobile explanation and parts list, it’s pretty easy, even for us electrically-challenged individuals. The results speak for themselves!
