Dash bessel removal
I smeared silicone all over the back to hold the pieces in and then the appropriate color of duct tape to hold it on.

Hurricane Florence
Finally started raining here early Sunday morning. And here about 24 hours later it almost gone. But it still pouring down around Wilmington. That is 5 consecutive days for them and most of the NC coast. The coast got anywhere from 5" to 30" of rain plus the storm surge. Now they got all the rain fall from inland headed their way. We were lucky that storm did not make landfall in the category 3 or 4 range. She went to a tropical pretty quick but lingered every where she went. This thing could have been so much worse. Thankful we got spared but my heart goes at to all that got and are still being flooded out.

Going to look at this tonight
Never used a dehumidifier myself. Used electric heaters for the most part of past 10 years. Propane just costs to much. The widows sweat some but not constantly.

5th wheel questions.......
I have never used a dehumidifier my self. I never had any problems anywhere in the structure that I can tell. Sure the windows sweat sometimes, like when cooking but it was not constant by any means. I also stopped using the furnace for the most part and used a tower ceramic heater in the bedroom and a larger infrared heater everyone sells for the living room. Both 1500 watt heaters. I dont like drying the air out to much, its just uncomfortable. As far as a hitch, mine is a 20 year old Reese and it is still going strong. bought it with the first 5th wheel.

Best Way to Dry Carpet INSIDE the Truck?
I dont think so but I guess it is possible if the drain clogged. The fan is not in the low spot like the drain is. It is about 3" higher. I had one loose on mine a few months back and never got any water in the floor.

Nv4500 fluid service
I was wondering if I read that right. Free shipping though. The add says 1 quart 32 ozs. One down below it says $32 and change for 1 quart. still pretty pricey.

Head gasket blown - Coolant leak
Whats the difference between cap studs and head bolts?

Dash bessel removal
That one came off easy at the top. Almost like clips were not holding. Each one of those red things is felt so it does not rattle. I remember @IBMobile warned to make sure they were there. Some of mine werd red and some were black. Thats got me thinking maybe what i sawas not felt. Maybe he can enlighten us. The dpeefo is easily removed. 2 screws and it just unplugs from the dash and 4 screws for the clear cover. Might have that backwords. It is pretty obvious with the bezel out.

Best Way to Dry Carpet INSIDE the Truck?
There is the confusing part for me is the torch down. I have used asphalt torch down where they take a torch and torch it down. The membrane roofing I am used to is heat welded at the seams with an electric heat gun and no torch. The part that is overlapped is mechanically attached to the roof deck. Same thing???

Best Way to Dry Carpet INSIDE the Truck?
I have heard it both ways depending on what use. I am pulling my carpet one day to clean it and will put something in for sound deadning. We shall see.

Best Way to Dry Carpet INSIDE the Truck?
Figured it was the same thing. I have very little experience with rubber roofing. Only used it on couple buildings a long time ago. Did it work for sound deadning? I take yu just layed on the floor pan or did you attach it?

We use membrane roofing that heat welds together and a torch down asphalt roofing. Not familiar with torch down rubber. Can you enlighten me?

Clutch Pedal Distance to Engagement
Mine acts very much the same way. It used to be a little better on shifting but I had a throw out baering going bad and shortened my slave cylinder rod hoping to take some pressure off of it to get it home and replace it. I have gotten used to it though.

Fuel Tank Module Check Valve
That is a bit different than the one I got 9 years ago butdoes the same thing. My pickup is only 3/8". But it works fine and will drain the tank.

Fuel Tank Module Check Valve
I had to rebuild my module to install my AD. it came with a retrofit kit to remove the in tank pump. Works fine. AD might sell it by itself. Vulcan performance sells a modified basket that appears to be the same as Dodge put it mine for the in tank pump. They may as well have something also. I am also not a fan of drilling holes in the bottom of the tank. As far the fuel pressure, it could be the pump going out. Seems to me others here have experienced that with theirs. I will let them speak to that issue.

Clutch Pedal Distance to Engagement
The clutch safety switch will require it to be pushed darn near to the floor to start the engine. Thats why i took mine out. The shifting coul be like Mke explains. I wore a boot that went to knee my after tearing my achilles tendon. It completely imobilised my foot and i can see where you coming from. I did not drive much until it healed. Very awkward.

FYI... Recall
I did not know about the oversizing. I have MOOG in mine from 2011 or 12. Right 200k on them. They are pre federal mogul. I dont believe any of the high dollar lifetime warranty ball joints are made for the 00 to 02. I will probably have to do this one more time to my truck. This just makes it even more fun to choose.

FYI... Recall
Thats interesting reading especially with all the brands involved.

Hurricane Florence
Still no rain up my way just breezy. This is the slowest moving storm I have ever seen. It has only moved about 50 miles in the 14 hours. @Haggar is seeing more of this than me right now. He is ahout 50 miles south of me. The people on the coast are still getting drowned and 7 people have died, so still a serious storm.
